Nice real life review, I'm f***ing sick of the typical car journos driving stuff like this and complaining they ain't that quick and they don't corner like a 911 etc etc etc. The traction control comment made me smile as that's one of the criticisms I've seen with this very car, you have to go into menu's to turn the traction off... no one actually turns it off! Anyway I pick mine up next week in the race blue, can't f***ing wait, your video has made me even more excited. Keep up the good work!
My dad loves Skoda's old and new, his dad use to have Skoda's when they was known as a cheap car that everyone use to joke about...now look at them. My dad is looking at something called a mobility car because he's quite sick and is doing chemotherapy so he struggles driving manual cars because of it ((I sometimes take a taxi and they are automatics most of the time and it is weird and I can tell it will take a while for me to get use to)) So because he struggles driving manual cars he can get a mobility car and might get a 2021 Skoda Octavia, but I've convinced him to get a petrol vRS model just so we can get more car for the money and its faster with good fuel economy. Cant wait to get the car though, our current car is a 2010 Ford Mondeo with 125bhp....so coming from a 125bhp to a 245bhp Skoda vRS is a big jump.. Edit: This comment didn't age well.. Rest in peace dad
That colour is hands down class, hadn't seen the colour before. I'd weirdly choose it over the blue. Jesus the grin on my face watching and listening to that noise!! Whoever the man is invents an aftermarket infotainment with heater knobs built in will be a millionaire.
Fantastic review with real life information. Loved the real life comparisons, kids vomiting in the back and stroking humans. Looking to buy 1 of these when we can finally go and test drive them, was thinking of the diesel 4x4 but seeing the smile on your face and hearing the noise I'm going to have to try the 245 as well
I love the car colour and even fake exhaust sound just one question?.........Why you keep referring to yourself in last 3 videos as a JOURNALIST?? Ha ha Funny Man
Hi Ian that was me that waved at you in Crowley's this evening jaysus you have some colour up I hope everything is OK with you I would have loved to have a chat with you to see how everything is going and I hope your not under too much stress hopefully the next time we meet we can have a nice chat please look after yourself
So I am looking at one and the only thing with these videos that are being do is, the 245bhp skoda that I can find is the hybrid one, the normal 2.0l petrol is only 200bhp that is what skoda is telling me. So why does everyone keep saying it has 245bhp and not saying anything about it being hybrid 🤔
Skoda have sold over 1 million cars worldwide for the last 7 seven years. They are the second most profitable brand within the vw group. Skoda are 126 years old and have a rich heritage and history
@@paulpaul2902 skoda have been part of the VW group since 1991, when VW' took a 31% stake. In 2000, skoda came under full VW ownership and since then, worldwide sales have increased massively
