I used your video to install my support kit today. Very easy to follow and I successfully installed the thing in under 30 minutes! Thanks again for the knowledge share!

Thanks for this video. I attempted this install once but the instructions were too confusing. Should be able to get it this next time. Cheers!

Also, that thing you're pointing at 11:45 is the uppipe from the header. If you haven't already found the answer.

Hey, thanks a lot! Yeah, the instructions can be a bit confusing. I looked them over and saw some pictures online for a couple of weeks before I decided to try it myself. I’m glad it helped! edit: Yeah, about the header, someone else pointed that out; said it was normal so I’m glad about that. This community’s so helpful!

the bracket you ask about, where you added the washer, you asked maybe it can be removed, is your steering rack mount, keep that put...and yes the mirrored bolt on the other side is due to regional difference, the input shaft to the steering rack is on the rightside because that where they drive from

That makes sense. Thanks for the information!

Nice videos! I’m sourcing all the STI part for my WRX now! Have noticed any differences in the how the car drives with the flex bars? Btw, the part you asked about is your exhaust manifold, or header! Totally normal for the rust.

Thanks for the info and compliment! Yeah, there is a subtle but noticeable difference with each part install. You’d think that it’d be more noticeable during 90 degree turns but you can feel the difference when changing lanes. After I installed the bumper and trunk draw stiffeners, I definitely felt the rear was snappier and responsive. It even seemed like the front was lagging in responsiveness to the rear. These supprt pieces seemed to have helped a bit to balance out the car. I also have the strut tower bar in the front as well, I just didn’t do a video for it. Once I add the front draw stiffeners, the car should feel even more balanced. Check out J168 Vlogs’ channel, he has a ton of videos about JDM parts in his WRX. Should be very helpful for you.

Hi, just wanted to point out. The washer goes on the opposite side of the power steering bracket. You don't need the 6 mm spacer. Those are supply for a different application.

If you don't need those 6 mm spacers, I would like to purchase them. I purchase a used kit. And it did not came with those spacers.
