I have the old Sym Jet 14. it is 5 years old now still going strong but time to upgrade, I have just ordered the Sym Jet 14 LC because I was so pleased with the older AC model. I am 112 kilos and my wife 51 kilos. the Sym 14 has carried us for nearly 30,000km. in the UK France and Spain.
A really good scooter for Bucharest, I have already 600km in 30 days and I am happy with my choice. I found only one minus with him. I don't really trust the storage door. There is a phone socket there, but I don't really trust leaving the phone there. It could be opened on the go. An additional closure would have been indicated. Maybe someone has a suggestion
great video as always, i wil be buying the sym jet 14 125cc AC E5 to replace the one i had stolen a month ago which was the E4. i love the style of the lights on this model and will be going for the colour black as in my opinion it looks the best. i was very tempted to getting the sym jet x but because of the hump theres no hook for shopping bags etc. thank you for another great video, greetings from england sir..
Sunt intre Sym jet 14 200 si yamaha nmax 155, yamaha e 300€ mai scump. Ce mi place la Sym este podeaua fara tunel...face o diferenta mare asta?sunt si alte avantaje/dezavantaje din ce stii? Sau o alta sugestie in categoria asta?prima data ma uitam la Yamaha xsr125 legacy care e motocicleta dar apoi m am gandit ca un scuter e mai practic deoarece ar putea fi mai comfortabil la drum lung + spatiul de depozitare, apoi ar fi si pretul de +1000€ diferenta. Ar mai fi fost Honda pcx dar daca am inteles bine, nu are abs fata-spate ci ceva cbs si are motorul de 125 care ma tem ca ar prinde cu greu 100
Hello , for delivery (Glovo, Food Panda, etc ) between jet 14 2021 and symphony st 2021 200cc , which one seems to be more practical ? I want to buy one next year and SYM has way to many models , to me seems to be the ST because of the under seat storage , what do you think ? Great work as always!
The one that stop me for buying jet 14 or x is that every 1000 you add 100 150 ml of oil . All the sym 125 platform is like this . The jet 14 a/c have the same issue or not ?
In fact I am undecided between the 200 of this model and the 200 Symphony ST. I am 5 cm shorter than you ;-) and I would also like to take the motorway for short trips in my city, the jet 14 inspires me more for this type of travel. what do you think? Thanks
The jet 14 should be more comfortable on long trips but I like the big wheels of the ST (they feel more stable at higher speeds) and also with a big windscreen you can get very good wind protection with the ST. I will try to make a video with Winter preparation (big windscreen, heated grips, and heated gear connection) as quickly as I can.
I think you should be OK, you are not going to flat foot it but then again scooters heve their weight very low and are easy to keep upright at a light. But the best thing to do is go to a dealership and sit on one and see how comfortable you are.

@@RideWithAlex si spuneai ceva ca se cam forteaza la turatii mai mari cel de 200, cam pe la ce turatii incepe sa nu i mai placa? Bine nu ca ar conta prea mult pt in Bucuresti dar asa ca idee, si mersi mult pt informatii
@@Iulian1999 la ST nu am turometrul deci nu știu exact turația dar pe la 95-100 in bord încep sa îl aud ca trece de turația lui optima. Motorul se mai duce pana la un 110 dar nu mai e plăcut sunetul pentru urechea mea, mie personal îmi suna ca nu e fericit la turația aia. De aceea și când am fost la drumuri lungi am mers 80-100 nu am sărit de 100 decât depășiri.
@@RideWithAlex daca la 90 merge fara sa faca urat sau altele e prefect, la 60cc cat are scuterasul meu de la 65 incepe sa vibreze totu cu mine, de pe la 70-75 deja isi ia zboru pistonu :))
i got one of this scooter and i would never bought it if i knew how bad this scooter was, for tall people is extremely uncomfortable unless u dont put ur feet the way explained in the video, but u still need a lot of time to handle this scooter properly, and not everybody has the ankle flexibility to put feet in that weird position, center of gravity of this scooter is very high and being tall doesn't help, so the balance it is what it is... the frame is also extremely weak and after only 10000 km i started to feel the scooter different, and i dont know how safe it were, the stock tyres are extremely slippery and when u change them with some citygrip u feel immediately huge different, i got my keylock broken twice and replacing it costed me 200£, Sym dealership always trying to rip u off and their professionalism is beneath 0... i would pay for this scooter no more than 1800 brand new... i forgot to mention that i got the 2019 version, the one with 10.5 hp and top speed was about 53 mph on gps top speed which is 85 km/h, so the 12 hp should go no more than 56-57 gps top speed, forget when they say like 65-70 mph.
Sorry hear that. When u talk about the model is the one without led lights? One other thing: what about the repairing costs, maintaining and engine fixe, are those expensive?
@@posmodany4025 yes is that one with no smoking lights and air cooled, i dont know if they are expensive, but considering how they charged me for a stupid keylock, everything should be extremely expensive
Pentru Jet 14 euro 5 125cc se poate monta un parbriz mai inalt? Pendulez intre Symphony 125cc si Jet 14 125cc. Stiu ca la Symphony se poate pune atat parbriz scurt cat si inalt. Nu stiu cum e la Jet 14.
Lasciate perdere, materiali scadenti, vernici delle parti in alluminio ridicole, plastiche che si graffiano solo a guardarle, specchietti che si rompono, ruote che fanno rumore, un disastro questo scooter, qualità pari a zero, inutile lo osannino, fa schifo
Nu exista asa ceva, depinde cum il intretii, eu am facut si 1700km in 24 de ore cu al meu, dar am verificat si completat cu ulei de vreo 3-4 ori in acel drum de 24 de ore. Un motor poate merge non stop zeci de mii de km daca are tot ce ii trebuie, benzina de calitate, ulei bun si in stare buna si cantitate suficienta de ulei. Cu 50cc am facut 600km in 2 zile. Totul tine de cum il ingrijesti si sa realizezi ca daca bagi 3-4-5-600km intr-o zi un motor ruland la temperatura lui maxima va consuma ulei in timpul functionarii, asa ca daca mergi 3000km intr-o saptamana si nu verifici niciodata uleiul probabil la sfarsitul celor 3000km nu mai ai motor. Dar daca verifici si completezi sa il aduci la nivel la fiecare 4-500km poti baga zeci de mii de km fara probleme si sa faci lejer sute de km pe zi, zi dupa zi.
