This is the new 2021 Toyota Prius XLE! This particular Prius is a 20th Anniversary Edition that comes in wind chill pearl on black softex interior. The powertrain consists of a 1.8 liter hybrid Synergy system mated to a CVT. Standard features include bluetooth audio, a backup camera, and Apple CarPlay. Options include a power driver seat and aluminum wheels. This Prius also comes with standard Toyota Safety Sense which includes radar cruise control, lane trace assist, and blind spot monitoring.

The Prius has gone from horrible to decent to fantastic in terms of driveability. Drove a 2021 one for a rental company I work for. Was thoroughly entertained and enjoyed it. Fantastic car for dailying for sute

Owner of 2010 and 2016. Too bad they don’t bring back the bridge console. That really improved appearance and added under storage. Now the console just goes under dash a bit and collects dust and debris. Looks unfinished. Other than Audio Nothing seems to have been improved or changed since 2016 apparently. Maybe wheel size? Can you get with sunroof still? What makes this a special edition?

I haven’t seen one with a sunroof in forever. Special edition includes black trim, badges, etc. Also black wheels and dark headlights.

We were Prius guy’s for about 10 years. We traded for a RAV4 hybrid. This Prius looks very good. The new Sienna’s , what happed? Ugly to me.

I bought a Prius (first a 2019 LE, that got stolen and destroyed, and now a 2022 XLE to replace it) because it is the best for my purposes > maximum economy, and rideshare. No regrets. But if I could afford a second vehicle, for my person al driving, and cross country trips, it would absolutely be a RAV 4 Hybrid :) Other guys dream of Supercars... I dream of the RAV 4 Hybrid :) lol

Aerodynamics. Rise it by 5 cm and you will get 5-10 mpg less.

Yes, I wondered the same thing when I bought mine. Turns out it's actually a safety feature for blind people since there is no engine noise when backing up

I wouldn't say it was a "loud" noise, I'd say it was a weird, kind of whirling, soft scraping kind of noise. It used to have the back up beep, but that was disabled in my 2022 XLE.
