It masterfully distils the human struggle down to its most fundamental elements: pain, pleasure, faith, and despair. It communicates with the characters in the audience, those who are suppressed in our own psyche. It remains alive, new, and transforms the craft of narrative and filmmaking while making a significant statement about what it is to be human. Exhilarating, riveting, and entertaining.
