For those who are wondering why the presenter stopped after a short moment and looked in the back of the car, it was the annoying rattle. It's a shame that VW can't quality control those issues from a $45K car. Also, VW USA biggest problem is that they are in the same group as Audi and are constantly handicapped by inferior materials and lacking tech to not take away sales from Audi.
Not to mention this is a press unit given to reviewers. You’d think VW would check to make sure they’re handing out their best examples to reviewers, but I guess not.
maybe the Atlas’s interior doesn’t have the best material in it’s class but this car still has a load of technology and V6 feeling driving (I drove it )
Audi Porsche Bentley all different levels of luxury VW but Audi variants usually aren’t much upgraded from its VW counterpart it’s only in the Porsche’s you don’t have the same stuff that’s why I got a fully loaded VW Tiguan instead of the Audi Q5 saved more money and same shit
Will you do a Traverse Redline??? Y’all did such a great job with the 2013, but haven’t touched the new Gen. I worked at Chevy and drove a 13’ for shuttling it was such a easy suv to drive could corner no problem. I’ve driven the 18’ as well it was so much more better (and I thought the 13’ was already excellent).
Even with their Jetta Model it's also even with the options you get too its like over 20k I know most people would say that is a good price but for me that is a hard no.
This car have a lot of sudden problem. First of all its an engine. It need to eject before change the timing chain. It would cost for owner a lot of money.
I usually enjoy these POV's but this one felt like you were irritated/uninterested. You werent as gentle with the car as you normally are and you rushed the whole part of showing us the interior and its little features. Highly unimpressed and disappointed in this video.
well that rattle definitely annoyed him and would've annoyed me too. He literally stopped the car to double check everything and it still happened! Dunno wtf was going on with that
@@kylechellino2579 he meant HUD as in Head up display. Mine displays things like turn by turn navigation, current speed, speed limits, stop sign warnings etc. All onto the windshield. It makes it so I never have to look down at my screen in the instrument cluster.
I test drove one yesterday I put that baby on the high way doing 100 no rattling I think it’s specifically the one in this video because I heard absolutely nothing! Tbh it’s well worth the price! I wouldn’t pay 40k for a chevy or 40k for a Kia but for a Volkswagen absolutely! Very nice drive I am currently saving up to get one within the next few weeks
Yeah, I'll stick with my Passat. Brand new car and it rattles. They want up in the mid 40s or even low 50s for something with a hideous steering wheel. You're not even a foot away from the car, and it makes you restart it. Fuckin disgusting. Seriously, why would you buy an R Line Atlas anyway? Are you kidding me? You're not taking it to Sebring. It's like giving a hippo two redbulls and expecting it to be more athletic.
