Well, they have returned.
I'm sorry guys after years of trying to do something better, this year it's handheld cell phone footage.
Good news: I get to see how the 4k hdr recording works, and if autofocus is my enemy like with my last phone.
Bad news: All my sound equipment is buried right now due to home renovations.
More good news: Next year I will have something truly special in store. While not possible on RU-vid, I will be recording in 5.1 surround sound with pro recording gear and high quality condenser mics. I've been building toward this for 2 years now, and maybe....just maybe I'll find the budget for a specific Sony 4k HDR camera I've been looking at.
