Here is my new Amana washer in the agitated rinse. It is pounding my clothes into submission. It is not enough water at all. It is going back to Lowe’s for a full refund.
I think it was because it’s on normal/ regular. When using other cycles it adds more water, and I hope to exchange my SQ for the Maytag version of this.
I had this set on the Normal Regular cycle with Auto Sense water level and Extra Rinse turned on. I used Hot Wash/Cold Rinse. This was supposed to sense the load size and adjust the water level accordingly. Instead, It filled to the lowest water level and beat my laundry into submission.
@@robertgwisdala5795 Normal/Regular is like normal eco on a SQ. It is an epa mandated cycle. Any other cycles will use much more water.. I am replacing my sq with one of these..
@@jeromedavis8575 Yep... It's crazy what they've done. Hopefully, they don't try to limit water usage any more than they've already done, or else folks are gonna have to go back to washing their clothes in the bathtub with a scrub board like I remember my family doing when I was coming up.
I used to have one of these and you can use just about any direct drive agitator in these. It's the same wash tub as the direct drives used to use I believe. Regardless, they all fit.
@@DylBuilder1 That is actually a kenmore style agitator, the dual actions whirlpool branded machines typically looked different than this. interesting that it would end up in an amana.
@@Celeron_619 yes I noticed that later, he must have switched it because in the stores they still use that whirlpool style DAA that the spiral on it separates at the top.
