I'm currently in remission for AML.Thank you for sharing this so openly. It takes a team if people to heal just one person with this horrible cancer. I am grateful beyond words.

God I hope someone is turning this book into a movie. The best book I have read in along time. I would like to see a second book following your journey.
My 29 y.o. son died from AML in 2021 after he relapsed after transplant. They couldn’t get him into remission for a second transplant. I’m too old for Be the Match, but I’m in the testing process for donating a kidney to a good friend.
My heart breaks for you. I'm currently in remission for AML. Though I can never give, my family regularly donates blood and platelets since it was vital to my recovery. There is no age limit. I pray you find healing and are able to honor your son in a way that brings you some comfort.
I love her energy. Just saw the vid of her and her husbands beautiful home and felt a sweet resonance with her and wanted to know more about her. Hearing this story and that she couldn’t find a match is heartbreaking. I don’t know about this (donor) world but would like to learn about the registry and if I can donate to it to help someone like her.
