Man I wish the 230i still came with the heads up display. No heads up display, no wireless charger, not even sure if the ambient lighting is still on the sides of the doors or even color changing any more. Still a gorgeous car.
Ambient lighting is included as long as you get the Convenience Package. Wireless charger is not a big loss since BMW's version of it doesn't work very well and an aftermarket one will be superior. TBQH, I would trade the HUD in the M240i I ordered just to be able to delete the moonroof; I don't know why the 230i has that option but the M240i does not.
Wait what? The car in this video is a 230i. It clearly has a heads up display, ambient lighting on the doors, and he changed the color of them within the first minute of the video. Am I having a stroke?
@@coejbee Early production 230i can have the HUD, if you order one today it's no longer included in the Premium Package and there's no other way to add it short of bumping up to an M240i.
@@coejbee It's due to parts shortages. Even the M240i isn't safe; mine won't have the touch functionality on the iDrive knob or the passenger seat width and lumbar adjust. The alternative is everybody waits 8+ months for their car...like what's going on at Audi.
@@vomErsten I knew the 230i still had ambient lighting, I just wasn't sure if it was still in the sides of the doors or still be color changing. The reason I have doubts is because when you build a 240i the build sheet lists the ambient lighting as color changing, whereas on my 230i build sheet it mentions ambient lighting, but does not specifically refer to color changing capability.
4:30 no way this guy actually knows how to indicate properly at a roundabout (indicating direction before entry and indicating right before exit). In a BMW too
