Thanks for the review. Puts things into perspective. The total monthly cost of ownership on this slow Beemer is worth way more than my home bond + household insurance combined. Anybody who can afford to put R25k per month on a show off, impractical car, good for you!

@@hulisanimashudu930 Ey, the F30 is a beast, definitely one of the classics. If possible, get it diagnosed. There used to be a trend whereby people would temper with the odometer. Secondly, check the suspension, see if it was replaced in the service book, if not, rather safe than sorry and replace it or you'll be replacing tied rod ends annually and get an uncomfortable road feel. Last two would be the crankshaft sensors (basically check all your sensors) and the brushing for the crankcase bearing (this one is a headache, you might have to replace the engine if it isn't properly fitted).
It's around 5l/100km on long distances ..you see 3.4l/100km at 125km/hr... atleast we got 1100km on a tank...but if your foot is 160/180km/hr heavy you can get 8l/100km..

As an owner of a used BMW, just extend the motor plan - you'll be happy. You can do so with Motorite or any other one. BMW's are very reliable (if the previous owner respected the car and you finna carry on that tradition). Unless I reach a millionaire status, I don't see a reason for me to buy a brand new BMW, I couldn't handle the depreciation but at the same time aikhona, i could never drive a swift (Sorry Muzi).
Don’t agree with Motorite stuff, take your broken BMW in for repairs and then you have to wait for approvals. Fax paper work and wait for the call center to approve the repairs.Did that done that. Never again ! Rather just take a BMW motorplan and warranty.
