2022 BMW G 310 R Review - Any Better Than TVS Apache RR 310 ?? 

Brother service is not expensive because The service interval of this bike is so long. Other bikes service interval is 3/4000KM. And The BMW bike service interval is 10,000KM. except first service.👍

IMPORTANT: Please read this if you are considering to buy this beast. This bike is pretty amazing. However, it's super costly to maintain as compared to other bikes in the same cc category. For instance: 1st free service (1 month/1000 km): ₹5-6k 2nd free service (1 year/10k km): ₹8-10k 3rd free service (2 years/20k km): ₹17-19k 4th free service (3 years/30k km): ₹ 25-27k 5th paid service onwards (Every 1 year/ Every 10k km): ₹ 40-50k, depending on the bike condition. The spare parts are extremely costly too. After the 3 year warranty period, it's recommended to get servicing done in any local store whom you can trust and are good at their job. The charges are super premium, the maintenance costs are more than any standard 1250 cc engine bike. So, go for it only if you can manage such insane high charges.

As per the information provided in the video with regards to the showroom, servicing and transportation charges spent, buying this bike seemed like a real impractical choice , a bad decision by the owner. However, as soon as i saw the Manchester United logo on his mask, it made total sense. :D Banter aside, another good review.

I own this bike. 1st service cost is 6500. 2nd service will cost 8-9k. It’s a good,practical bike. It’s not the best however the best looking naked and performance bike in that segment.

Hey, thanks for your smart and unbiased reviews...why not we make these manufacturers specify the components...like in BMW and Honda, ex. suspension.....as I know in UK, cb300r has Showa USD with SFF-BP whereas in India they do not specify, for BMW, earlier they used to have Kayaba suspension, now they do not mention....this looks unfair to our market as we should know what are we paying for.....so if you think it is appropriate, pl try to get to know and let us know....I think we all have to make our market more intelligent both for riders as well as for manufacturers, so that we have a win-win situation....PL respond...

As a bmw g310r owner i just wanna say that rr 310 has better top speed i myself ridden upto 170kmph on a rr 310. But g310r goes upto 153max It's because rr 310 revs more se the power figure rpm . And bmw g310r makes no sense to the compition like d390. But logo is everything and i use this bike as commuter in my society (not rich , wannabe rich guy). And service i do it in 3rd party

Bmw is best bike for beginners in 300cc segment... While we compare to Duke 390...Duke is much powerful which is difficult to control for a beginner rider...

Considering the performance and amazing handling of the bike paired with longer service intervals it's not that costly to maintain. People are going nuts about the service cost. It is more than ktm for sure but not too much. Also consider quality of parts you get on bmw. I would say if you are a traveller,ride a lot, It would cost you around 20k per year more on the bmw. Well, for me that's nothing compared to the quality. BMW performs little better on every aspect, where as ktm has it's pros and not so pros. If I go to buy a 400 cc bike it is surely gonna cost me more money as mileage will definitely be lesser that lower cc bikes.the question is whether the difference is worth it? I feel it is, in this case.

BMW, with a front wheel bigger than the rear one, and a ground clearance of 220 mm is anytime a better cruiser than the TVS bike...which lags in both these specs. Higher ground clearance with a bigger front tire always means a stabler off-bad road performance. These things matter on long-haul cruises.

My Honda City service cost is 4500 to 5500 Per year...damnnn...9k for 310 cc bike....damnn

Honest review after ownership of 1 month.... City milage 20-25 km/L In city area heating issue of engin Highway or continue speed you can obtain milage 30 to 35 km/L Power and performance excellent delivery. ABS working excellently. Bike suspensions excellent. Gear shifting and acceleration slightly harder if you have used 100 to 150 cc segment bike used. But after some days you will be used too. Proper vision at the night because of LED Light setup. Service cost is very high not a single service is free.

You must differentiate spares cost between Apache and GS 310,my son is having GS 310,fr brake &clutch Lever s we have replaced cost rs6450/at Hyderabad only spares

my 1st service took 5500 and 2nd service 7500 in Ranchi Jharkhand and service interval is 10K kilometers. So you have to service it only once a year. So I dont think its expensive at all. Yes I take my bike to the BMW showroom so excluding the travelling charges of the staff.

There is a major comparison issue bro... Its important to know that TVS service fellows at ur nearby TVS service stations are knowledgeably equipped to handle these kind of high tech motors... In the place i live most of the ppl who buy this 310 motor from BMW is mainly because of poor service capablities of TVS mechanics.

10000 kms mei service hei. Service cost is more or less a package that includes spares too. Other bikes mei 5 to 6k mei service hai. Spares cost alag lagte hein. Overall BMW is expensive but not as much as you hear

It's Nothing like that i own gs310 and it's beautiful, If u say about service is expensive. Then yes it is..But i will say it's worth paying that cause the Service is done on every 10k Kms so that's fine..And I'm 100% sure that you won't face any issue between 10k kms.. 1st Service of mine - 6000k 2nd Service of mine - 7500k 3rd Service of Mine - 8000k The Service charge increase due to Break pads or Levers. I would say it's nothing like that cause my breaks pads to were gone. i had installed KTM brake pads so yes it did turn well. So Finally i will just suggest this is a Wonderful bike on Highway and long rides. It gives Confidence.❤️

That comment about the gearbox being smooth is absolute rubbish. I have ridden it and Gearbox is pretty clunky and the engine is very rough at low speeds. This guy def doesn't know what a smooth gearbox feels like.

It's not 12k, I own the gs and I paid 5.5k for the first service and the service interval is also 10k kms or 1 year. If you are going for a premium bike please don't make an issue of expensive service and spares. No premium brand as per my knowledge offers any kind of free service

I bought this beast like a month ago and very much confused earlier which one we need to buy apache rr310 or bmw 310r. Let me tell about the things which i have thought: 1. purpose: If you are guy who loves cornering and aggressive riding (means comfortable with sportive aggressive handle bar). -> go for apache rr 310 because bmw is not for you. 2. pavilion seat: if you are a guy who travels most of the time single -> go for apache Because apache's pavilion is not useful for guy in a relationship or have an habit of taking with family members. 3. Brand : your keeping almost 3+Lakhs so tvs deserve's that ? and trust me if you are guy who gets discouraged when someone stares at bmw or any other than yours .Then my frd this apache is not for you. ( I have personally witness people staring at my bike because of tha bmw logo which is sitting next beside to apache) 4. Long term : if want a bike considering long term I mean if you are planning for family in couple of years) then apache is not for you.

Overall loved the video, the bike, looks, everything. BUT when the other guy said about service pricing and all, I was like rehne do bhai, list se bahar nikal dete hai bmw ko.
