In Europe we get the sDrive18i with a 3-cylinder petrol engine making 140 horsepower, an sDrive20i with a 4-cylinder petrol engine with 181 horsepower and an sDrive18d with a four-cylinder diesel engine with 150 horsepower. A 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT is available for the sDrive18i, but the sDrive20i and sDrive18d get the ZF 8-speed automatic.
That's crazy to see a manual option for a BMW X2!! The only SUV that I know of in the states with a manual was the 2nd or 3rd gen 4runner and Fj cruiser!
Just bought the sDrive18d in Europe. Diesel has turbo and the thing really HAULS. Finding a test-drive version post-pandemic was hard enough, but driving it sold both of us on it. I don't care that the EU's phasing out diesel by 2035. By then I'll be demented enough I won't remember not to keep driving it. The manual's also available on the sDrive18d, and that added, in the test drive, to the flavor of pocket rocket.

@@BrosFOURRSpeed I am not a fan of the ones from early to mid 2000 era, the new ones are definitely sharper looking and much more refined. The only older BMW SUV that I like is the X5 M because it has insane amount of power and at one time very few other SuVs that could match it's acceleration.
Premium will make it run smooth from what I know. And that depends on what you buy extra from the dealer. Sometimes they are included, sometimes it’s extra.
