Same here! Just bought cameras and first one I open and try use it’s says ERROR on LTE. Need help please. I’ve pulled sims (finally found torques small enough). Just need to reset the unit but can’t figure out how. Thanks
Thx for this. I just bought this camera thinking it would show video on my app. Apparently you say it won’t so am returning before I purchase a plan. Sigh… so frustrating once I finally decided to pick a camera but thank you! 👍🏼
Did they ever fix it so video will come to the app? Im thinking of trying some Browning cell cams while they are on sale (to see if i want to stay w/my current brand or switch). I just need to find out if they updated the app to send video yet. Thanks for the video & help w/question. :)
For the people wondering about switching between carriers for this camera. I had a conversation via email about the problem and found a solution. This is what they said. “Good morning, I would try following the instructions below to reset your camera and that should help. Please reach out if you need anything further. Power off the camera Remove the SD card Press the Mode button AND the Right Arrow button at the same time and power the camera back on. Information will display on the screen Insert the SD card Wait and a bunch of numbers will appear Power the camera back off and on again and reselect your carrier Try the LTE Test again”
I tried Verizon and was getting an “ERR” message. Followed the instructions, switched to at&t, got another “ERR” message, switched back to Verizon and it worked that time. Browning really needs to fix this or not mass produce a non user friendly camera on the market with issues like this. Hope this helps. I know I was ready to run over it with my truck. :-D
This method of reset should be listed in the instruction manual. I believe I set up the trail camera before i had the account/service activated - then needing to reset carrier. Works fine now after the reset. Thank you.
On my cell phone I have a reception signal of 1 or 2 bars out of 5 at my hunting spot, Before purchasing my first cellular camera, I would like to know if the Browning DEFENDER PRO SCOUT MAX (SKU BTC-PSM) camera will work perfectly with a signal like this. Thanks
I am very interested in this Cell Cam but can barely find any reviews or info on how it works in the field. How does this Cell Cam compare to others, and would you recommend buying it now after using for the past month????
I just bought one of these cameras. I can't get pass the ATT hookup. Every time I try to get it to work it pops up ATT ERR Keeps saying error. I'm getting frustrated trying to get this cam set up. All help will be appreciated
@@djcrash1104 so I never had to switch carriers, it ended up being the batteries for me. I had a cheap brand of batteries and it ended up working after that. But you do have to pull the SIM card out to do a reset on the camera. I called browning and they were very helpful on how to get it working.
@@heatherturcotte9480 Hold down M and right button before turning on your camera then hold and turn on your camera keep hold and in tell the att or verizon screen comes up
Is this still the price per month? I see on the website several packages (one is $14.99 for unlimited & $9.99 for each additional cam). I def don't want to go to this brand if the prices are that high lol, I pay enough w/Tactacam (just want to try one out, heard the build quality & battery life is much better but if the pics & video coming to app aren't any better I'll stick w/Tactacam). Thanks for any updates.:)
