The Canadian National Exhibition, also known as The Exhibition or The Ex, is an annual event that takes place at Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on the third Friday of August leading up to and including Canadian Labour Day, the first Monday in September.
We walk through the entire grounds, through the crafts building and everywhere in the food building. There's nothing like a midway, and weird foods like charcoal ice cream, ketchup ice cream and mac and cheese pizza. But be warned - the food building is primarily cash only.

That brought back some great memories! As a kid, I was always excited in August, looking forward to going to "The Ex", but dreading the thoughts of going back to school. The midway was my favourite, with all of the games and the guy who used to yell "doggy, doggy", where you could win a stuffed dog (I never did lol). Also loved the food building, and back then you could fill up on all the free samples, although we always saved room for those mini Tiny Tom Donuts! Thanks for sharing :)

I think we all return to the Ex to try and recapture some of those memories we had as children, and yet it never quite measures up. The wonderment is not the same. Thanks for watching!
