2022 Cast Netting for Shrimp and Crabbing in the Marshes of South Louisiana (Part 1 of 2) 

Fall 2022 Shrimping season is amongst us and what else is there to do other then take off of work and get out there and do something.
Ill travel by boat through the marsh of South Louisiana and doing the following at water management weirs:
cast netting for shrimp - 25 lb limit per boat per refuge guidelines
crabbing with drop nets - 12 dozen limit per boat per refuge guidelines
fishing - targeted species of red fish, trout, and catfish.
These are all recreational and non-commercial activities.
This video will be a 2 part series - and part 2 will entail cooking a shrimp and crab stew that is pictured at the conclusion of this video.
