Ugh you aren’t alone love. My childhood dog had a medical episode and collapsed while I was sleeping. I woke up to a call from my dad saying that my best friend of 12 years had spleen cancer and a heart full of fluid. My mom came and got me to go see him and we made the difficult decision to put him down, as there were such low odds of any of the procedures working and we didn’t want him to be in more pain. That was a week before Christmas. And then last week we found out that my 87 y/o great grandma is in the hospital not eating and if she doesn’t perk up then these will be our last moments. I’m only 14 and I’m on my 4th antidepressant and started birth control for PMDD (which I only found out about from your channel) Gotta love life 😍🤞 But fr tho much love to you and your family and I’m knocking on wood that our year will turn around 🥲

I know this sounds weird because I am so sorry for everything you've been through leading up to your "new year" (AKA February), but thank you. It's been hard not only these past few months for me, too, but the past couple of years and it is a small, strange comfort to know that the universe wasn't just "cruel" to my family and I. Reese, I am so so sorry for all you're going through right now. I lost my grandmother in April of 2021 and it really caused me to spiral and enter a super deep depression. And after that shit just kept hitting the fan and getting worse and things still are happening and i'm like "universe give me a break bestie!!!!" but thank you for sharing because even though it is heartbreaking to hear other people are struggling, it's also a little bit comforting knowing you are not the only one hanging on my a thread lol. I'm sending you lots of love and healing energy!!

I'm so sorry for your losses and tough times. This is actually so weird because my dog died October 23rd. My grandma died December 24th. And I also got Covid that day so I was sick over Christmas and such. 2021 was a really rough year for me overall but things have been getting better. I know it will for you too 🙏

Wow, sounds like we have the same (temporary) curse. I'm glad I'm not the only one whose had a mountain of....events....happen to them. I remember when you posted the news about your Grammy and my heart dropped, what a huge loss. I'm also sorry about your dog. My elderly dog also recently had a seizure at night. Just as you described Zoe's seizure, it was traumatizing. For a second I thought she had died in my arms, but thankfully she didn't. I also couldn't sleep following that because I was constantly making sure she was breathing. I am glad Zoe is okay though! Let's hope things will only go up from here!

Because I know New Years are always supposed to and usually do start great, but this year the new year just didn't even feel like a new year and don't get me wrong I already really loved my life in 2021 so I wasn't looking for a big change, but things just didn't start off right or fresh for me in 2022 either and I've been struggling with a lot as well and things have just been going wrong in every way they could and it felt like everyone was saying how great things were going on for them in January and how they knew this year was gonna be great because of it and I just felt like I was the only one who wasn't going to have a good year and just watching this made me feel so much better because you're not doing the whole fake positive new year new me new life shit here !! I truly do hope that the year gets a lot better for you, and I'm sure it will because things can only go up from here!! A lot of us will be starting the real new year in February too because January felt like a bad trial period lol, and hey it's still just as cold and depressing outside so whose gonna know the difference in months anyways

i’m very familiar with the stress and anxiety of life constantly giving you curveballs and it’s not easy at all. my dog passed away due to a seizure this past year and it was a very traumatic experience for me. i hope you’ve been able to take care of yourself and your mental health throughout all of it. december put me in a depressive episode, different from my others because it lasted so long and i’m still trying to come out of it now. thank you for sharing with us, and i’m very excited to see the new years content in february because i will be joining u on that! february is the start of 2022! feb 1 is harry’s birthday so it’s perfect!!

I feel like I've been going through some stuff in a similar timeline. Last grandparent passed in November, Birthday, xmas, and new year spent alone, work is going awful and apparently I had some fake friends that randomly blocked me out of nowhere.... I hope it's all uphill for us, pretty soon.

I'm sure it'll get better but in the meantime, how ever you feel is valid and it matters. Hope you're better and I like the idea of starting the year on February, unfortunately for me February was the shitty month. Anyway hoping on march things get better. At least in my case all the shitty stuff is only happening directly to me and not to the people that I care about I think is a bit easier to handle.
