I just picked up my 2022 f250 tremor in carbonized gray with the black package and it's fully loaded. I did get the 7.3 and it's fricken awesome. Thank Ben for the great videos.
I sold my 2020 GMC Sierra 3500, ordered a 2022 lariat crew cab long bed lariat, fully loaded with pretty much all options for $89k. Good deal considering no other manufacturer could give me what I wanted without removing half of the build. I did get the powerstroke, no way I was getting a gasser again.
@@Subi_doo that's sick dude. I'm a diesel guy all around I have a 7.3 diesel but I wasn't going to pay 10k for a diesel that I can't delete and tune bc the government made it illegal. The 7.3 gas is crazy.
This particular trim looks good in that Rapid Red! Seen one at the dealer today for $67k with the 7.3 gas engine parked next to a $90k white F250 Tremor… crazy🤦🏽♂️
Just picked up our 2022 f350 lariat carbonized grey crew cab long box my dad and I love the truck has a ton of power 6.7s have come a long way for sure definitely gunna give it a run for the money
Ordered my 2022 Star White F350 Lariat Diesel with the Black Appearance Pkg in late August, hope it get it in November. The reason why the this truck didn’t have the multiple camera’s is due to it not having the Ultimate Trailer Tow Camera System with Pro Trailer Backup Assist Package. That’s a $1655 option and I passed on it. Also noticed the $10000 markup from the dealer on the window sticker. Glad I ordered mine instead of letting dealers steal my money! Hope the consumers remember what dealers were doing this after this chip shortage goes away. Only way we can stop them from screwing us is not purchasing from them. Shop around, still some good dealers not doing this!!!
Ben Hardy great job on your reviews like always but I know you saw that $10k mark up . If you’re going to advertise those awesome dealerships that sell for msrp also advertise the markups on these greedy stealerships so we know to stay away from them.
Markup is called “market adjustment” around here. And unless you place a factory order, then just bend over and take it like a champ. My truck was $84.5k when I ordered it from Ford. Had I just walked onto the lot and saw that exact truck, I could be expected to pay $100k for the same truck. Markup here in PA is 15k for 250/350 and 5-10k on 150’s. Just by getting an order from the factory, I’m soo high in the green. I probably made money driving it off the lot where as normal market I would have lost a deal of money already. Needless to say, I can likely trade it into a NON ford dealership for what I paid if not more and lose $0.00. A ford dealership will play games if you try to trade in or sell them your new truck because they know what msrp is and non ford dealers base it off of market values.
@@ucquality 10k is for every new truck… diesel or not… factory orders hypothetically is 84k, dealership gets order and places it for 99k UNLESS a customer orders it. Around here, it’s 5-10k for f150’s and 10-15k for 250/350… I’m guessing it’s 15k for diesel and 10k for gas… I ordered mine directly from ford so I didn’t get a mark up. There markups are added onto MSRP. So if you buy a lot truck new, and not placed with your salesman, your paying 10-15k OVER msrp.
Ouch! That’s a big problem it seems in the states, up in Canada you don’t see to much of it but inventory is really low. But I found one locally carbon copy of this truck for $90k CAD which is like $72k USD. I’d never pay over MSRP, some dealers are acting like scalpers and it’s sad. I have a 2021 Escalade and I bought it for $106k drove it for 6 months and now it’s worth $130k. Crazy times 🤷🏻♂️
@@Newchiii most people like to negotiate, in this market, you have to either buy a factory order, or DONT try to negotiate. Sales people will laugh at you and tell you the whole story of the shortage and what the price is is what it is and they don’t need to mark anything down or give any incentives. I wasn’t going to play that game, so I just ordered one so I knew what I was getting and what I was going to pay. Shitty trucks with 50k + thousand miles are going for well over the fair market values. When this shit goes to normal, soooo many dealers are going to be holding the red pretty hard as they are getting inventory over cost and that’s no good for anyone.
Everyone keeps complaining about Ford half assing the new interior of the F350 and that they wish they would've went the whole way and designed it like the F150. I personally don't care for he big chrome bar that separates the infotainment center from the heat controls. I think the way the F350 has it layed out looks clean.
Anti Matter Blue is a awesome color I saw a new Full size Bronco in Anti Matter Blue it looks black from faraway but once you go up close to it it's a sparkle night time Blue looks awesome but you have to see the color up close in person
I want a f250 platinum or lariat so bad! But I can’t afford them in this market, I was looking at 2017-2019 platinums and dealers want 68-80k used with a lot of miles! I think I’ll just wait a couple of years.
look for certain dealers that don’t that much of a markup, i found one with only 3K markup. but i decided to just wait and either order one or wait until next year to order a 2023, the most you’ll pay is sticker price
@@maurieloflores5000 true think I’ll go that route, might have to wait a while but rather do that than pay up a ridiculous mark up just to be upside down on the loan when the truck depreciates.
I sell Fords and Antimatter Blue is one of the best colors I’ve seen on any vehicle. It’s a fun new mix other than black if you want black but something not far from it. It’s the best color you can get…. If you don’t want black.
It still has ambient lighting but its only the light blue color and its no longer in the cup holders just doors and below seats cannot chsnge the color which sucks i just got a 2022
Yeah they’re raping people on new cars at the moment. Just wait until Ford has the chips they need to ship the 100s of thousands of trucks sitting in fields right now and forces the dealer to take a years supply all at once.
This was good advertising for that dealer until I saw the additional 10k dealer mark up. That’s just bad business. Refuse to buy those vehicles and that’s the only way they’ll stop. I’m ordering a 2022 and confirmed with my dealer that there will NOT be any additional dealer mark up. There’s still some good dealers out there.
The FX4 package comes with skid plates and a few other trimmings. It’s only an additional $400 so it’s not that terrible - I got it on my 2022 f250 lariat.
Are you shittin me?! A $10k markup?? On a superduty that is nothing special….what kinda crap is that? I have never seen something like that on a superduty that wasn’t some kind of a special package.
Why would anyone buy a 7.3 gas w/ a 3/4 ton truck or bigger lol spend the $$ fuel mileage pays for itself, I’ve tried & avg mpg on a gas job is garbage. Personal experience/opinion
