I ordered a basic hybrid XL, white, rear sliding, Co- Pilot 360, hitch Aug 27. Scheduled for build Nov 1,8,15. Went to production Nov 17. Built Dec 1 and shipped Dec 2. Sam Pack 5 Star Ford, Lewisville, TX. I'm expecting it to arrive mid Dec. Since I wasn't expecting it till mid Jan it came as quite a shock as they weren't supposed to start shipping till Jan.
It is awesome that you took the time to share this information. It really helps complete the video. Sometimes I say I highly suspect or I would do it this way....it's my way of saying chances are high as if I had a source I still couldnt say it. I ve been mentioning that I suspect Xmas Hybrids since October and I appreciate those that trust me enough to follow the channel and I also really appreciate intel like yours. Now don't get me wrong I also appreciate it when people correct me with facts bit I don't always get it right and I appreciate the community working together to get the most intel and that we work together to make sure ots accurate
Wow thanks for 5he info. I ordered an XL on October 11th and aside from an order number all I’ve had is radio silence and a note from the dealership that they are getting Mavericks in all the time and if something comes in close to what I ordered they would save it for me. Problem I know is all the Maverick’s are spoken for. Sounds like I won’t get mine till March/April which sucks because my lease will be done in February
This is so helpful and gives a lot of insight thank you so much! Just ordered my Alto Blue Maverick XLT eco on 11/15 and based off what I’ve heard and read I most likely feel like I can expect it around Jan-Feb. again thank you!
I ordered a Lariat Hybrid in June. Ford says next year. Nothing from the dealer except that my order is Priority 2. He had no idea what that meant, nor do I.
APRIL or later. Unless byboyre luck at your dealer you are next in line but only the dealer knows that. Hope I was helpful and sorry I can't be more precise. If you want to help the channel out consider subscribing
Everybody saying they’re over 6ft and comfortable while I’m here 5’5 without any doubts that I won’t fit. Bruh I drive a Ford Fiesta SE rn Lmao it’s roomy for my so the maverick is gunna b an upgrade while still avoiding the stereotype that short ppl get huge trucks💀
Young those are good points. Yes the Maverick will avoid thw stereotype as it looks small from the outside but is roomy on the inside. Does not look as big as a Dxplorer Sport Trac
@@Johnnyscarcarereviews I ordered the lariat with all the packages except the 1st edition just a couple days ago. Do you have an idea when around next year it’ll be getting built? Ik in the video you mentioned something about them being built by April but I just want it to be clarified a bit more.
@@Johnnyscarcarereviews Thank you Johny. I only ordered the plug in the center console, a moon roof, and the 2K tow package on my XL. I thought this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and my wife [approved the purchase] so I went all out. 👊🏽😁 Thanks again, I'll check my priority status.
Someone asked what is up with our Matching items....secret society? 😆 🤣. My homage to you is the Pikachu at the bottom of my bookcase that no one can see. That little fur ball got me to loose over 10lbs walking hundreds of kms in 1 year.
Hybrid models are definetely not moving in November and ecoboosts are. However, when yours gets built depends on your dealers monthly allotments and where you fall on their list. The eRlues I'd suspect would be a January build but who knows how many months they have sold out to...well they know
Whew. Lots of talk but I'm no closer to knowing when my XLT, ordered yesterday, will arrive. What I would like to see is more info on the hybrid and CVT.
As far as the size behind the driver seat…. Little hack is if you raise the seat (I prefer to max out that height so I can see better, I’m 6’) you do get more room in the back. I had the seat all the way back all the way up back was adjusted to my liking, I got in the back to see how it was and I had more room.
Sorry to hear that. Marie was driving my mustang gt so when I traded it in when getting the Bronco I had to get her a 2007 Escape. Silver lining is we have never been this often to the hardware store and the garage is getting finished
No sorry it depends on your dealer ans where you are on their list vs allotments. I did see a memo for my region saying g thst someone in your situation should expect a build before end of March but I don't know if this was exclusive to my region. It was not specified
As much as an SUV. Sit in an Escape and adjust the seat. This will give you a good idea. Also if possible try sitting g in a Bronco Sport as the angle of the hood is more similar to thst of the Maverick
Hi, my Lariat Hybrid window sticker updated today with pricing, EPA ratings and that "not for sale" stamped across it is now gone. Also, my dealership called and said they got a notice from Ford, mine is built & they are waiting on a ship date which he made it sound like that would tale place sooner than expected
Being that they are not delivering them right off it makes sense instead of having your Maverick sit around in the hot sun they built an ecoboost instead
Yeah all the reviewers are giants except Tim from truck and SUV talk and I. At 5 ft 6 you will be just fine as the height of the seat adjusts. The bottom back angles up giving you about 4 inches. Visibility will be good. I drove seat all the way up and down to get a perspective for people 4 inches shorter and taller than me.
I ordered my Hybrid with lux package on July 1st - no VIN number or build date yet 😔 Sounds like I’m going to be waiting 8 months from order date to receiving it 😭
@@Johnnyscarcarereviews I know you’re in Canada so I’m not sure if the early spring dates you gave we’re just for you or a general timeline. I’m not too far away in Michigan though so who knows.
@@Johnnyscarcarereviews Thanks!! I already have a few accessories that have been shipped to me that I plan to install and one that I need to ask my dealer about because I don't want to void the warranty on the 1st day. I want to add a carbon fiber 2020 gt500 hood vent. I think it would look right at home laid in with the 1st edition graphics.
Interior is a lot bigger on the Maverick. From the outside both seem similar. MAVERICK is more squatted down but tons of head room inside just the same
similar on the outside but a whole lot more space and comfort on the inside. I hope this helps and if I can get a photo with a 2011 ranger and Maverick I'll share it asap
Was the back seat demo with your brother done in a hybrid where you have an extra one inch of legroom in the back? If it was done with the EcoBoost engine which, I've learned, causes one inch less of back seat leg room, then I'm really impressed. Or, is that one-inch back seat legroom difference bogus?
My Oder for my XLT has been verified by ford 6-24-2021! Ordered as an extra Mud Guards! Dealer took the off my order because they are a delayed item! Still no build date! Nothing else holding up my build according to the dealership, and Video’s from Johnny I have seen!!!
Bonjour, coma sa va? I really do appreciate your content covering the Maverick. I am completely obsessed with watching Maverick videos. I just wish the Canadian pricing was comparable with the US MSRP pricing with the exchange. If I proceed, this will be my first truck. I am in love with F150s but this is more practical for a city dweller. Merci Beaucoup Johnny!
Thank you for dropping a comment and for the positivity. This Maverick will by far not be my first truck but even having had all sorts of makes, models and years...I really like it.
My build date was October 11. Around October 20, I saw a news report saying production had been stopped. I called the dealership and asked if I would be delayed. They told me my hybrid Lariat was being built that week, about 1 week behind schedule. The next day I got an email from Ford saying that they were behind and deliveries would begin in January 2022.
Next summer? I can see that as possible if they sold many more than there allotments for the next several months. For example if they are getting 100 for the year they can't expect much more than 7 to 12 per month. If your number 85 then I can see it being a much later month.
@@Johnnyscarcarereviews it could be, I am not sure what their allotments are. They aren't a huge auto group and I ordered early August. He did say they won't have any stock Mavericks on the lot until all the customer orders were delivered.
I was quoted 0% for 36 months, or 0.9% for 48 months (I don't recall the rates for longer terms). But I think it will depend on the incentives in place at the time of delivery.
Great and relevant news! My hybrid order was confirmed by Ford on Oct 11, so built in March is what they are promising?... if it gets built by March, that would be great, but I will expect June in these times. If Ford does have mine built in March, that will be perfect. Carshow here in Atlanta in March I will be attending to get the $750 discount you mentioned.
Had my XLT Hybrid’s order confirmed July 2nd, still unscheduled. Was hoping to have it before Valentine’s Day for a road trip the GF and I are taking, which probably won’t be the case. Worst case scenario is I get it by my birthday, which is in April. Would be 9 months of waiting but hey I’m saving money until it arrives 😂
I've got a hybrid XLT. The "In Production" graphic on the Ford Tracking website says 10/18/21. The "Special Order" date on my window sticker is 10/06/21. But the Fuel Economy section still says "EPA Data Not Available." Should I just go in and refresh it periodically for updates? I've never gotten any emails directly from Ford. Or am I most likely stuck in the January delivery group?
Great question. I hope Ford is underpromising and will overdrive for some. Simply put I think it's smart to say hybrid deliveries begin in January to plan in potential set backs but I the sailing is smooth and some arrive 2 or 3 weeks before Christmas then all the family party talk will be positive. If things don't go perfectly then it does turn to January then no one isnhurt or dissapointed. This is speculation on my part. The only certainty is the plan is starting in January of you had a VIN October 21st
Thanks again for your info. Got my email today that my 2.0 eco, xl was built. Conformation order was August 10. Great news! Your 2022 Maverick XL has been built. We are performing some final inspections on your vehicle and getting it ready for shipment. Our current estimate for delivery to Long McArthur Ford is between November 17, 2021 and November 23, 2021.
@@AKS-74U I would talk to Tim Bartz. He can help on getting your order over to them or just new order. August 10. Congratulations on ordering your all‑new Maverick XL! Your order has been placed with Ford Motor Company on your behalf by Long McArthur Ford.
Got a text from my salesman from the dealership that I ordered from, he said my Hybrid XLT has a build date week of 12/20/21, woohoo, finally, ordered 7/2/21. It will be a late Christmas and early Birthday present. Called Ford customer service and the nice lady confirmed build date and gave me my VIN#.
It's not just American manufacturing that requires patience to receive the product. Also I think there are some cases in history where patience, sacrifice and perseverance were common traits of citizens and that those societies were rather prosperous.
Not related but for those craving Maverick news, those subbed to long mcarthur ford channel…they received a few Mavericks that weren’t taken by the customer & now they are asking 2.5k over MSRP. Very disappointed & unsubscribed.
ALL dealerships mark vehicles up! I'm actually shocked how offended people are about that fact! They have every right to mark those trucks up as they are now stock inventory. I think that people somehow forget that and feel like he's not in business or everybody's Best bud
@@txredkim867 Incorrect. They ALL do not. I have several dealerships around me that have taken delivery of Ford Mavericks of various configurations in are selling them at MSRP. The reason they are doing this is because they know they will sell. There is no need to mark up.
@@txredkim867 why would I hop down in snap of something that I don’t want. If you want to pay over MSRP that’s fine. Go for it. You people are really defensive for a obscure Kansas Ford dealership that was putting out a good contact and decided to make a quick buck.
