Always loved the street bob but thought the bars weren’t my style. This is the first time I’ve seen one with drag style bars. Well done brother I’m even more motivated now to get one now!
I think the Street Bob is the best motorcycle H-D makes right now. I love that gauge in the bar clamp. Your mods are all great. Your bars are awesome looking, but I'd probably keep the mini-ape hangers. I sat on one at the local H-D dealer and loved the ergonomics of the factory bars. Your exhaust sounds great and looks awesome. I hope you enjoy many miles on that bike!
Thanks mate… yer the bars and set up im sure are not to everyone’s tastes but i can say that its very comfy to ride and i think it gives the bob a bit of a meaner look.. most ppl go the apes so had to be a little different i guess.. 😎👍🏻
I just got the same bike but I got it in fast back blue . I would like to do the same thing you did with the bars. You should do a video of you riding . Beautiful bike
Very nice ! I’ve got the 2020 Streetbob 107 in Spruce/stage 1. Big radius heavy breather forward controls. Just about to fit same solo seat as yours however in brown. Looks great 👍 Coming up to 18000 miles and running superb………..enjoy your bike !!
That's how it should have come out from the factory in the first place 😍 Harley seem to make their bikes not looking so good on purpose just to make you spend more money after you buy the bike. The problem with people like me, is that I like to keep things as they come out from the factory, so unfortunately, Harley Davidson can't seem to make a bike my style 😔
I have to agree with you on that some what…but i guess thats part of the harley charm is that you can make the bike to your personal style and its fun to create your own flavour on an already awsome bike
Thankyou.. i really appreciate it.. the bars and risers are from a 2022 factory harley breakout, The breakout is a very popular bike here in Australia but im not sure they are even sold in the USA anymore.. im sure a quick google search will show you the bike they are off..
I really like the black 3M vinyl wrap on the top of the forks. I have a 21 street bob and I think I’m going to do the same thing after seeing yours in black.
Nice scoot, just installed the breakout bars on my 21 bob, feels and looks pretty sweet with the forwards and Saddleman profiler seat. Also planning on a Klock Werks stretched rear fender along with their front wrapped fender. Not quite sure what to call mine afterwards since all the bob stuff will be gone. A pro street maybe 😁.
@darrenstopler3045 Yeah man, the clutch cable is the same as the breakout drag bars, with a part# 37200215A And the brake line for the slim is if I remember correctly is about 4" shorter than the street bob line, plus it's a non abs 1 pc line with the correct banjo angle with a part# 41800614
Ape hangars are a trend I've never liked. Everyone and their grandpa has them on their Harleys (especially here in the states). Good for you for not being one of the sheep and developing your own look!!
Looks a lot better than the stock configuration and much more user friendly. My question is, what are the parts I need to replace the stock bars and riser to the Breakout setup? I have the 2023 FXBBS
Hi.. thanks 🙏🏻 the brand is called Kodlin and there called Neowise 3 in 1.. i got mine from a harley dealer but i guess you could get then direct from kodlin..
Wow! I completely wrote these off but THIS is what Harley needs! I think they should fire all their R&D team and hire you man! If they quit spending time and money on these ridiculous new “Sporsters” and made bikes like this alot of us would have much higher morale towards them🤘🏻🇺🇸
Thanks.. The rear came down a little over an inch and the kit is a kodlin lowering link kit.. i had the shop fit it for me as you need a spring press..
I just bought this same bike. Harley’s site says that bag doesn’t fit our bike. Did you have any difficulties installing it. And I noticed you don’t have your passenger seat anymore. But, would this bag interfere with where the passages pegs were? I still have mine on and was planning on keeping them. Thanks for any help. Absolutely love what you’ve done. Those same V&H pipes and forward controls were my first purchase as well. Along with a tuner.
Thankyou very much I appreciate it.. firstly the swingarm bag fits no problem, its for the twin cams technically but fits straight on. Its not a very big bag but i like it better than the softail one, plus its all black 👍🏻 I still have my passenger seat in the house but probably wont use it much.. i still have the passenger pegs on the bike and although they are still usable the peg on the bag side is shorter.. it will be the same no matter what swingarm bag you use.. hope this helps and well done on getting your bob 👍🏻
@@kryptnite1 thank you very much! You knocked your bike out of the park! I love the breakout bars on it. May have to steal that look for a future mod. Thank you for your reply. I ordered the bag today. This one looks so much better for the Bob than the softail one that shows online. Thanks again and I can’t wait to put it on.
I’ve got this same bike…. I like the mini apes.. they look like a Harley is supporting to look. .. needs a step up seat if you are riding hard solo seat is too easy to slide off…. I’ll probably do an S&S 475 cam
Beautiful bike brother. I have the the same bike, and just starting with some upgrades. What turn signals do you have on the bars? Was there any fitment issues with those? Also wondering if I can get a link for the license plate holder. Thanks!
Thanks mate appreciate it.. here is the link to the tail tidy kit www.ebay.com.au/itm/402478019141?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0&ssspo=itmkhha0qpy&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=ZDnbzpoBSK2&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY And the under perch indicators are from rollies speed shop i think..otherwise brown’s indicators are pretty kool to..
I know its a bit late but can you give some specifics about the bar? I am in love with it and wanna get such a bar when i get my street Bob soon i hope 😊
Awesome bike, I am waiting on mine now.. Going to get the fastback blue one.. I wanted to ask how you like the Vance and Hines Big Radius exhaust. I am planning on getting those for mine .. Not sure of the tuner yet. I am thinking perhaps of going with the Harley Screaming Eagle Tuner. My thought there is to try to prevent completely violating the Harley warranty. I still may have trouble though with the exhaust... but will have to see. I live in California, so we have lots of restrictions here.. Some say the Big Radius exhaust bounces the sound from the street back to the driver.. Do you encounter a lot of excessive noise with that exhaust? Do you have to wear ear plugs, or do you think a full face helmet will protect your ears from the loud pipes on long trips?
I don’t really encounter any loud bounce back but it definitely has a nice sound to it.. i don’t ever wear earplugs so its not that loud but it does give it that nice harley sound thats for sure..
@@kryptnite1 Sure, once I get a few mods added.. I will be happy to send a video your way :) .. With this supply and demand thing going around here though, I'm sure having a hard time finding a dealer that has the bike I'm looking for.. but am continuing my hunt ....
Hi mate very nice mods. Jus wanna ask the question as u bought 2022 model . I am confused which one to get between new softail standard and street bob . What made u choose this bike and is it ok to go for softail standard as its lil bit cheaper than this .
A few reasons for me to choose the streetbob over the standard was 1. Streetbob is all blacked out 2. Streetbob has rims, no spokes 3. Streetbob comes with the 114 motor These 3 reasons were an absolute must for me as my bike is called black opps
hey buddy, how tall are you? how do you find the forwards.Interested as you find the breakout bars comfortable as well.I have the same bike ,kinda like the mids ,havent changed the bars and im 6 feet tall
Hi mate firstly im 5’10 and i find the forward controls to be a must for me as the mids have my knee bent to much and i end up with cramp in my hips after an hour or two so the forwards are very comfortable and relaxing ride.. I’ve adjusted my shifter and brake pegs to suit.. My last harley had the apes so with this one i wanted something different and the breakout was my go to bike but the price with all the mods i wanted was just to much for my budget atm so street bob it was, I absolutely love the breakout set up on the streetbob and it’s surprising how well it handles like that.. im not completely up right like the apes but im not leaning over to reach these bars either so there a comfortable in the middle.. you being 6foot would love riding my bike.. id say the perfect fit for you..
Hey. Love the look of your bike. I am going slightly different direction but ordered the tail lights. Did you have to add anything to correct flash rate or were they plug and play?
@@kryptnite1 hey, what colors did you wire to what? Sorry to be dumb but I can’t get the lights to work. Colors are different in the instructions. Would really appreciate your help in this one as we have same model year. Cheers.
@@patrikfranzen4535 trying to remember but i know 2 wires are the same and the other two are different.. Red-brake light -red Black-ground -black Yellow- running light - blue Brown-turn signal - green I think thats how it was just test the yellow n brown to make sure they are the right way round..
I am sure you can take it to your dyno and they will tune it and you can have the tune put on a USB.. i had harley just flash tune my stage 1 with a maximus tune.. most ppl don’t bother dyno tuning a stage one as the power upgrade and value for money is best doing your dyno tune on a stage two.. (475 cam and tune)
Hey man beautiful bike, I have the same one myself and have been looking for front turn signals similar to yours. Where did you purchase them and what is the name of them? Thanks in advance
Thanks 🙏🏻… I purchased the front under lever indicators from highway harley in perth but you can also get them from harley heaven or ebay.. they are bike specific so make sure you order the right ones for your bike.. 18-22 street bob
Hi, the 22 streetbob rides quite well concerning i put the breakout bars and forward controls on it.. so far ive had no troubles at all with it.. im due my first service on it next week and then i will be doing the cam n tune so will have more of a review on it soon…. But so far so good with no complaints 👍🏻🙏🏻
You have this bike looking mint mate, I’m looking at doing the same bar setup on mine, did you get the bars and cable kit from Harley? How much did the whole setup set you back if you don’t mind me asking?
Hi joel, yes i had the bars and risers and cables fitted by harley when i bought it new so i got a total for the whole bike but i will dig up some info and get back to you on price…
@@kryptnite1 hey thanks for the reply, I’ve already got a quote for the bars/risers cables and the full willie g kit for it also, loved the look of your bike as soon as I seen it! You’ve done a great job on her mate
@@kryptnite1 sorry to bother you again, when you got the bars and risers installed was there a lot of clearance with the mirrors and tank? Or did you have to adjust the Mirrors forward

Depends on how cheap you can get your parts from around the place coz postage is a killa on some things but in a tad over $40k.. im in Australia so will depend were u are…
Hi, i got them through harley.. the front are orders from a website called rollies i think and are called under lever indicators and the rear ones are from a company called Kodlin.. they are called the kodlin neo-wise 3-1 indicators
Mate that bike is unreal. Can I ask how tall you are? I’d love a set up like this but worries the breakout bars will have me leaning forward too much and make the back a massive pain. Cheers man keep it up 👌🏻
@@kryptnite1 thank you so much I just got a bike just like yours which type of handlebars riser you got ??? Or where you got them from? Thank you for the info
I actually got it from my local harley dealer but thats the first ive ever heard of that… vance and hines exhaust pipes for harleys are quite popular so dont think they would stop making them 🤔
Hey mate hope your well, mate I was just watching your most recent video on the custom vest you got made from MFG first, you said something about cycle fanatix code for 25% off? Also I’ve been on there and made one but they won’t ship to NSW? Just wondering how you got around that? Your help would be much appreciated
Hi.. yer i have a cousin who lives in america so i posted it to his place and he posted it to me here in WA.. Ive heard there is postal companies that will give you a P.O.BOX to send it to and they forward it to you..
@@kryptnite1 hey mate do you remember the weight and dimensions your vest was when delivered? I may have found a way to get it shipped out to me but need dimensions and weight to get accurate postage costs? I just don’t wanna order it only to find out I’m paying an extra 500 in postage
Hi mate.. bike is going great it had its first service the other day and now runs like a champ but the cam will be getting put in on the 28th jul… The box my vest came in was 650w x 400h x 100d But as for weight i had 2 vests in the box so i couldnt be accurate but for 1 im guessing around the 1kg mark in the box
@@kryptnite1 awesome man bet ya pumped for that, they emailed me back last night and said they have started shipping to Australia again as of today so hopefully will get it sorted soon, what type of cam are you going to run? Any other engine mods when the cam goes in?
I have the V+H pipes on my last two bikes and the short shots are the loudest.. especially on the 114. Very reliable products..i have yet to try the bassani pipes but ive heard they are good 👍🏻
@@tiziano1393 the wheels are stock for the 22 but if you mean compared to spokes they are pretty good.. i had spokes on my 48 and got sick of cleaning them all so i much prefer the rims 👍🏻
It really depends on what you like.. my bars are factory breakout bars and riseres and i lean forward a little but not enough to be uncomfortable.. im 5’10”
