Very informative! I"m getting my new 2022 EX-L this week and, after seeing this video, feel I'm now pretty much operational on the car's features. Good Job!!
I watched this video as my sister was driving home from the dealership. I adjusted the tailgate for her. It's really a beautiful car. Dealership originally wanted $700. She talked them down to $425 a month with around 5 grand upfront for fees and taxes.
Glad I could help and congratulations on your new Honda. If you like to go above and beyond to truly help me out. You can mention (Crazy Honda Chris) in a five-star google review. I am graded more on feedback than sales and that truly helps me out. Don't forget to check out my other videos as well. Google Review Link g.page/r/CWOhNMzohnNlEAg/review
I was so happy to find your review. I just purchased my CRV-EXL and cannot wait to pick it up in a few weeks. I have one question, do one have to pay a yearly fee for the remote engine starter? It is my understanding you will have use of it with no cost for the first year and afterwards you will have to pay a monthly or yearly subscription..
Remote start comes standard on the CRV EXL without any paid subscription. The CRVs don't have remote start on the Honda Link app from phone, just on the fob.
Hi Chris, I Bought CRV EXL 2022 and up to now runs like 1200KM it is mainly in the city you can say 90% City and 10% Highway. But the gas mileage is giving like 12.5 Ltr per 100KM. I thought it will give at least 8 to 9ltr/100km. Is this something that I need to talk to the dealer or it is normal for some time? Thanks
Its normal to see this on a new vehicle especially is you're driving way more city. There's a lot to consider that effect the fuel economy as in driving habits, city vs highway, landscape (flat vs hills), and etc. If you do have any concerns I would encourage talking to your dealership. Thank you for watching
@@CrazyHondaChris-H18 Thank you for your reply, Chris. Your videos are very informative and in detail, thanks for that too. Do you know what circumstances CRV 2022 gives 8.7 in a city as per the brochure of the Honda? If they are saying 8.7ltr/100KM then I'm supposed to get at least 9 or even 9.5 would be ok for me. But 12.5 is quite higher than anticipated, right?
Thanks for the video. Just ordered this model even though I can't test drive it. All local Honda dealers are out. Is the wood on the dashboard real or fake?
hey Chris! very nice video. do you happen to know why the CR-V is the only honda vehicle that doesn’t have the camera on the right mirror when turning?
Thanks so much ! We just bought one of these yesturday and my 10 year old and I were trying to figure out everything , but there weren’t many RU-vid videos . I do have one question . So I tried to install my daughters car seat rear facing and I couldn’t find the metal latch loops that are usually in the seats of the car . I put her in the backseat middle . Where are they?
Great video, after doing research for weeks this is the first video I've seen that shows the whole shabang, the whole kitten kaboodle (lol) Unfortunately here in Canada we get taken deep with our ridiculous pricing on everything, looks like an additional 8 grand for us as opposed to the U.S prices on this model when including the destination charge as well but thanks, the CRV is in my radar for a new vehicle. I like that the gear shifter is still manual as opposed to the goofy pushbutton, not so wild about the digital speedometer but can probably get used to that, as you probably figured out I'm an old timer so all the computerization on these new cars is pretty intimidating. Good luck in your sales.
I’m with you Robert I much rather have a gearshift then push buttons I remember a 60 dodge dart Seneca my father had and the buttons kept getting stuck we push push that Puppy. Out of I can’t tell you how many parking spaces
Crazy Honda Chris, I have a 2020 Pilot. When you leave a fob in the car, to lock it with the second fob, do you press and hold the lock button or do you press it repeatly?
So do you have to pay for FM radio? It doesn't come standard is there a normal radio system in this car? Also another question if you drop your key fob in the car and it locks if you didn't have somebody else with a key fob how do you get in?
Just bought a White fwd 2022 Honda CRV EXL and trading it for a White 2022 fwd Rav4 xle. That was my first choice but could not find one. Now it’s coming in soon and I put down a deposit
Thanks for the video, its helpful. Had a question related roadside assistance services. What kind of features does it provide on emergency need? like does it have sos button? will honda service center come to know location of the car if roadside assistance is needed during emergency? what roadside assistance features comes default and what can be purchased?.
Glad to hear that my video was helpful! Here's a link to further assist you with roadside assistance services. owners.honda.com/vehicles/roadside-assistance
@@CrazyHondaChris-H18 Thank you for the response. It looks like there is no SOS button on the vehicle. BTW - i am leaning towards buying 2022 EX-L trim. My follow up questions: does hondalink app supports CRV for advanced features like remote start/stop...etc? Does CMBS feature allows car to stop automatically on detecting a potential collision ( assuming if driveer doesn't act) ? or does it just gives warning? does it have apply brakes on reverse if it detects an object?
I currently have a 2010 crv exl. This car allows me to raise the driver's seat. Does the 2022 model allow the same adjustment to support us short people ?
Great walkaround, Chris! Occasionally, when I walk up to the UNLOCKED car, with my keyfob in my pocket, the driver's door will LOCK automatically! What can I do to prevent this? TIA!
Your door lock settings are in your menu on your touch screen/radio. The walk away feature can be engaged there. When you walk away your door will lock. When you touch your door with your thumb, the door is set to lock. You may be able to turn it off in the settings.
2022 CRV EL LKAS is supposed to be turned off but all it turns off is the displayed "Lane Departure". Still get the steering wheel shake. Only way I have found is to completely shut off cruise control. Very annoying. One road we travel has holes. Best way to avoid is to track next to lane markings, but shake shake shake...
I can understand that. Here's a link to another video of mine sharing how to change vehicle settings. I hope this helps some and thank you for watching ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bvSSbuaMpbU.html
@@CrazyHondaChris-H18 I figured it out. My lane departure switch is not on the steering wheel. It just above my left knee on the panel. I guess this is a later mod. Has nothing to do with LKAS
I'm not aware of the situation or programs available to you but your local Honda dealership should be able to answer this question for you. Thank you for watching
Yes, that feature has subprograms to protect it. Examples, if climate not to temp, the engine not to temp during winter, sport mode is enable, etc. The owners manual will have a list of examples. Congratulations on your new Honda and thank you for watching
My smart phone has a navigation app. If I plug in my smart phone, can I pull up my navigation on the EX’s info center or is that only in the EXL and above?
the Apple Car Play and Android Auto is standard on the Special Edition and above. The trim levels are in the following order for the 2022 CRVs; LX, SE, EX, EX-L, Touring. Thank you for your support and watching
The video shows that 2022 EXL has individual tire pressure monitor in the display next to oil life, driver attention etc. Mine does not have that is there a way to activate that?
@@CrazyHondaChris-H18 I asked 2 things do I have to manually move it back OR should it do it automatically? I just got it yesterday and still learning I have 2022 cr-v exl
What problem have come up with the 2022 as the 2021 seems to have a lot between leaking fluid engine problem seat belt issues.are all these problems also on 2022. Honda CR-V and exotic and
This vehicle has Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Here's my video sharing how to get connected ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-g1hNneWr5iI.html
maybe a Protection plan… Whatever that is and then they said it before $499 to have the window tent done. I guess I'll wait until the car comes in and see the MSRP and what else they added to to it? i'm probably getting ripped off??
I was sharing that you can't accidentally lock you keys in the vehicle and how you may purposely lock the fob in the vehicle with the second fob. Thank you for watching
I liked the Honda CR-V EX L except the “no CD player” … don’t know anything about flash drives … can you fast forward , can you rewind , can you pause , I was told that downloading onto a flash drive is a long tedious procedure 👎🏻 , and what about the cost ???
Flash drives are reasonably cheap. These also aftermarket options to install a CD players. Maybe your local Honda dealer can assist. Thank you for watching
Just found out the Honda CRV Hybrid does not include a spare tire/kit. THAT is a deal breaker for me. Honda loses a life long fan. Luckily the Toyota RAV4 hybrid retains the spare tire. Switching reluctantly to Toyota.
Deal breaker...because no donut tire? That absolutely makes no sense!!! I own a 17 odyssey and had a 17 crv. Just traded that crv in for a 2022 crv. Honda owner 4 life. DAMN good vehicles!!
My Honda dealership sold me a 2017 Honda CR-V EX-L with 87k miles for $28500 😒 if this is only $34000 I think I got ripped off. My CR-V has almost all of these features in the video but has 87k miles on it! Urgh
Yikes.... you didn't 't do your homework before going to the stealership Edward! They know that most people are either in the "I only buy used" OR the "I only buy new" parties, thus they know those coming in for used vehicles don't often research the price of a new one. You could have easily negotiated that MSRP of an EX-L down to 27K or so, pre pandemic. Now, might be more wishful thinking of course, but eventually that will go back to normal. So, yes, you go ripped off, but that is your fault, as you are responsible for negotiating with the dealership. Lesson learned, do your homework next time. People need to wake up and realize that if you buy a newer used vehicle you are only saving MAYBE 2-3K at most, not worth the risk in my opinion,.
