2022 Hyundai Santa Fe // Is this America's BEST Value SUV?? (More Features, Lower Price) 

My parents bought a 2003 Santa Fe brand new. 150,000 miles with zero issues. Traded for a 2012 Santa Fe. 100,000 miles and not one issue. They just bought their 3rd Santa Fe and they love it. These things are built well and great quality.

Great video. I just bought a 2022 Santa Fe Sel awd in dark sea blue. I love that you get a lot of safety features like lane sensors, first aid kit, extra storage, blind spot sensors, wireless phone charger, great stereos, great speakers, great design, 10 year 100k mile power train warranty, 60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty and free car washes.

Just bought my wife a brand new one with the Calligraphy pkg, roof rack, turbo etc.....absolutely love it! We actually got it in that new grey color and it looks dope with the black grill. I have the new Elantra for my car..Hyundai is killing it right now. Love the gas milage as well for both.

one of the good things they've done and underappreciated.. the engine is no longer gdi alone... it's now both gdi and pfi... this definitely helps in the long run.

Great review, and spot on regarding the value proposition the Santa Fe offers. The various trim levels can effectively compete with a variety of other models, and give them all a run for their money. Like the styling, and for me it is the perfect size. Only negative is the rear turn signals in the bumper. Hard to see, and seem like could be easily damaged.

Good review guys. I’m not in the market now but maybe in the future. I have a 2007 Santa Fe with 260,000 miles and other than little fixes here and there, it’s been a great car. I do love the newer models for their style and tech. Maybe in a year or two I’ll be in financial position to buy up. Thanks again for informative content.

So nice to see a review of something other than a top-of-the-line model. The Santa Fe LTD and Calligraphy models, however, way out class vehicles such as the RAV4. I have had Audi Q5s and now have a Q7, and the loaded Santa Fe is more competitive to them in size, quality and performance, but at a much lower price point. It’s pretty clear what my next SUV will be.

Bought the limited. What a great ride! 2.5T is as fast as the 330hp g37 I had and much faster than the 2.0t santa fe. Super luxurious inside that can easily compete with Lexus or Acura.

I don't care for the DCT transmission. The turbo lag is another issue for me. I currently own a 2015 Lincoln MKC 2.0 AWD mated too a 6 speed auto and i don't have these issues. No turbo lag nothing but seamless performance. That all said, i like this SUV a lot and it's got a VERY competent AWD system with the Htrac. However, i am thinking back too when Kia put a DCT auto in there Sportage and it was nothing but trouble. And i see that happening with this Santa Fe model down the line. So i'd MUCH rather go with the 2.5 standard 8 speed auto with 190hp. Getting the SEL with Premium and Convenience packages will get you 90% of what the Limited and Calligraphy trims have. And in terms of HP the 190 isn't that bad at all and you won't have too deal with both the mechanical issues of the DCT and turbo lag. Otherwise, a VERY VERY nice SUV that easily gives Subaru Outback a run for it's money in terms of "off road" capability.

Just purchased the 2022 Ultimate Calligraphy model. Pretty amazing vehicle. First brand new vehicle we have ever purchased in 26 yrs of marriage.

I had a 2013 Santa Fe 2.0 Turbo that I leased for 48 months. It was 4 years of total enjoyment & I hope to have another one soon now that they have a better engine. I have never had any engine trouble with 3 Sonatas, 2011 & 2013 or the Santa Fe. Oil change every 3000 miles might be why. The Santa Fe could take on many sports cars as it was a sleeper.

You forgot to mention 3 years complimentary maintenance. Also when you walk up to the car at night the door handles have under lighting . I bought the SEL AWD last week in Columbus, Ohio. I previously owned a Honda . I feel like the sound system is lacking in comparison. In addition the SEL does not come with the right side camera. I kinda miss that feature. However I do love my SEL AWD! It’s a great car ❤️

Just bought a 2022 hyundai santa fe limited hybrid. Seriously best car ever. We test drove and researched over 10+ cars. Hyundai is in a league of its own. Plus a 10 year 100,000 mile warranty to throw in the mix.

We just bought our second Santa Fe. We have a 2011 model and now we have a 22 Limited to go with it.

Love Hyundai cars and suvs! However, in our area the dealerships are tacking on $2000 - $4000 marketing fees. Not good.

This is definitely a great vehicle for the money. A few things I would like to have seen would be dual exhaust, integrated sequential headlight turn signals, and sequential turn signals for the rear as well. Obviously, these are purely for aesthetics, and the new Santa Fe is still a great looking vehicle regardless. You'd be hard pressed to find a vehicle with all of the standard tech at this price. I'll hopefully be trading in my 2019 limited for either the new 2022 limited or Calligraphy model.

Well as of July 10th my moms brand new 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe will be arriving at the dealership. And we will get it some time on the week of July 11th. It’s a silver SEL with both the convenience and premium package. With the gray interior we looking forward to taking delivery of it.

I love this color!

One of the biggest issues with the SE and SEL trim levels is the poor mileage with there 2.5 NA engine and the volume AWD versions at only 22 city and a very low and uncompetitive 25 highway despite having the new 2.5 and 8 speed! Even the turbo 2.5 gets better at 28 highway but the cost goes way up to get that trim.

Purchased a 2022 SEL with premium package. It is a great vehicle. The only complaint that I have is that my right-side rear seat shakes and vibrates a lot when driving at normal speeds/road conditions. Has anyone else had this issue?

Thankfully our UK version hasn't got that single tailpipe bottom right. That has totally ruined it at the back.At least put 2 even if the gaps are fake

So proud owner of a 2021 SEL TRIM.... ok my wife's.. but yeah.. I live the harsh conditions of the Desert.. So as we continue to put our baby through it paces.. My only concerns are the A/C.. BLAST to cold or Not enough.. 1 thru 4.. The sound system ummm.. My sis. N law i can hear from down the street.. "Corolla" so yeah "ok" not KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF" Good review guys... Oh yeah.. I currently have a 19' Sante Fe 2.0t AWD ultimate and my lease is up in Dec and I'm most likely jumping into a 22 Sante Fe calligraphy awd, i just find the competition so much more expensive , i am waiting for the 22' grand Cherokee to hit showrooms first to see if i want to switch over to that. I would have went gv70 but find it to small for me

Recently bought mine, an SE basic trim. Ride is comfortable. Very roomy indeed. What I didn't like are the back up lights and the Auto stop & go feature. The back up lights are not bright at night, therefore, I can hardly see anything from the back up camera. The Auto stop & go work sometimes, not always. It really bothers me when it doesn't work like it should during the drive (shut off engine when I stopped at stop lights), but once I made the stop at the destination, the feature would kick in... shutting down the engine. So when I shifted into Park gear, the engine would start and I would have to turn off the ignition.

Good luck finding one with the ongoing chip shortage. I have 2 Hyundai dealerships within 50 miles of me and they have like 12 combined Santa Fe's left between them. Half of them are FWD (really??) and only 2(!!) have the premium package (one being one of the FWD ones). So it appears that only the uhh...less desirable trims/models are left on the lot currently. It's like that across brands too. Was looking at the local Honda lot as well. They have 4 CRVs left and all are "sale pending." Toyota and Mazda seem to be fairing a bit better, but not by much. I *was* hoping to buy a new car this year, but I may be hard pressed to find the exact model and trim that I'm looking for. And good luck getting any sort of discounts...

Great review! I currently have a Honda CRV and love but it's missing some features the Tucson and Santa Fe SEL have. I just can't decide on which one to buy. One feature that I need is the power liftgate. If the lower model of Santa Fe is missing it can that feature be added? How much more would I be paying for it I wonder? Ugh! decisions...decisions.

I'm so glad they got rid of the 2.0T engine with the refresh. I drove a Santa Fe Limited 2.0T back in 2018, and it felt so lethargic and slow. It was way too heavy for the 235hp it put out. Very curious to see how the new 2.5T and 8DCT drives and if it actually feels much quicker than the 2.0T (which it probably is and will).

2022 and car companies are still using incandescent turn signals....the rest is fairly decent bang for the dollar though.

I test drove the Limited turbo model. I just wish the legroom was better in the driver side/ front. The center console intrudes on thigh/ knee space. Also wish there were more interior color options for the silver exterior models. Was very impressed with the features and performance.
