Considering what you're getting for $35K, with a 5-year warranty and 3-year maintenance package; how in the world do you beat it? I'm glad I got mine 7 months ago. This was a beautiful video and did the vehicle great justice.
@@gbma3241 The Elantra was too small, but I'm in love with that Stinger. Sadly, I don't think Kia will be making it any longer; however, in a couple of years, if it is still available (new), I may trade the Sonata in on it (2.5T-Stinger)
@@gbma3241 Elantra N is too toyish and abusive sounding/plastic galore . Stinger GT has zero visibility and meh. Sonata N-line Night is pretty awesome and looking to replace my 2006 3.3 V6 Sonata LX..eventually
Ugh this car is so great. So glad i got mine. Sadly an idiot driver totaled my accord sport 2T. But this car is such a great replacement. Hopefully not too mqny people catch onto it so i can stand out on the road.
So for a while now I have been keeping my eye on this vehicle just to see how it is. I love the N line on this vehicle it looks premium and well put together. I never really looked at his car like this but this version is amazing. When I first play the video and I seen I was saying to myself this looks like Florida. I was like wait a minute as soon as I saw the exit said foresthill I literally fill out of my seat and was incitement that finally someone down here is making great videos of cars. I never really looked at his car that way but certain trim levels I'm looking like wow I definitely have to check his car out soon. I really love the Bose sound system the one thing this trim level is everything I need in a car. So shout out to you my friend I hope to get a chance to test drive it and see what happens. Every street that you turned on and I was like wow he's down here in Florida and I was just excitement to see that. Great video 👍🏾👍🏾😇
We need a video to compare this against the Elantra N. They are in the same price range and makes about the same horsepower. The one thing the Elantra N has over this is the exhaust note. Those pops and bangs are insane.
Shoutout to Cxdy. Amazing producer & I appreciate the sound check 👌🏾. I have a 2013 Sonata GLS and was looking to see the upgrade options that I could use as a daily drive. Appreciate the vid, but please, does it spin out often? I heard someone say that even in normal mode it happens a lot.
@@jaygtestdrives update. I test drove a 2023 N-Line today and it was better than expected. Definitely getting one by the end of the year, if not, the top of next year🙏🏾
first thought that came to me was "this is definitely filmed in Florida and then i saw the big "Miami" text 😂😂, I've been looking at several cars but this really stands out to me.
@@peterhong526 unfortunately not. Australian N line comes with most of limited trim features. Projector headlights, full LED tail lights, 360 camera, rear window shades, rear heated seats, front heated and ventilated seats and more.
@@parkjoon5594 that is ridiculous...hyundai's marketing team is definitely not in tune with what we want stateside. I couldn't believe it when I found out the US-spec '22 VN does not even come with heated seats. It's a $35k+ car...they are screwing us Americans over, thinking we are stupid enough to settle for less(and we still buy them up). The sonata n-line is NOT a Veloster N(track machine). It should come with all the nice things associated with a sonata.
I called the manufacturer and they said that if you know how to read the VIN number find the serial number within it. The last three numbers is a product number out of the 1000. If you have three zeros you have the number 1000
Looks awesome, just ordered a white MY23 , should have it in days. Any tips for reducing wheel dp spin and what's the fuel use like per 100km with city only driving? Ill be driving in the city weekdays. Any issues with the car?
Does anyone know if they are pumping sound into the interior to make the driving feel more engaging? or is this raw engine noise alone? sounds incredible for a 4 cyl. especially on the lower RPMs.
Get this one, it has better fuel economy, its faster and more technology! The Mazda 6 got discontinued so you would have to look for 2021 and older model
@@jaygtestdrives Both of the cars I am looking at are used, I do not care if the car is used or not. Thanks for the prompt feedback though. One last question, regarding the ride quality and sound dampening which of the 2 would you say is better the Mazda 6 or the Sonata N-Line?
Need help im buying a hyunday im going for the limited or n line. I want the extra horse power but i also want a good ride and heard from other people that the limited have a better ride experience. Anyone that can confirm or know about this.
I have been looking at both myself... it depends on what you want... If you want a few more features like ventilated seats and better fuel economy then go with the Limited. It's got an anemic 1.6L Turbo that pulls like a 1995 Ford Taurus but it gets great fuel mileage. Your shift point in this thing should be 5000 RPM. At 5000 RPM you should be producing all 180 Horsepower and 190 ft/lbs of Torque. It's not a very impressive engine performance wise but its got that fuel economy going for it, if you don't mind being a bit slower. If you don't mind having all the bells and whistles that the Limited has but still have some good features and you like to move when you hit the gas then get the N-Line. It's got 290 Horsepower and 311 ft/lbs of torque with a very good powerband, optimal shift point should be between 4250 - 5250 RPM. At 4250 RPM you should be cranking 250 HP but 310 FT/LBS of torque, at 5250 RPM you should be cranking 285 HP and 285 ft/lbs of Torque, it's gonna depend on what you want out of the engine. It would be amazing if you could get the Sonata Limited with the 2.5T engine and AWD as an option, but that would be too smart for Hyundai.
The wheels are such an odd choice. I have an SEL Plus and those wheels look way better than what comes on the N-line, so its cool they offered them on the N-Line, but then they painted them matte black. Just looks like plasti-dip now.
@jaygtestdrives can you have red on normal mode, or is there zero color options for the main screen? Can you fully control all functions on the secondary screen whilst the car is moving? Many cars lock you out whilst driving. I will miss the rotary controller on my Mazda, but so glad I won't have to use the old dates mazda system anymore. The mazda 6 has been great, thou dated.
@@mharro88 just the elantra n. That one has slightly less power but is quite a bit lighter. The Elantra n is also available in a manual, this is not. It probably has less amenities, being a bit cheaper, but performance wise I would place a bet on that one before this car.
@@ian.williamson the elantra n-line still handles better than the sonata, its more fun to drive but less refined i test drove the sonata today, its very powerful but too much for its FWD and no slip differential. Front tyres just spin endlessly
@@jaygtestdrives Its a mish mash between the Night Edition and the normal N line, It has the blacked out emblems + the exclusive black Night Edition rims + red center caps. Which you shouldn't be able to get on a normal N line.
@@jaygtestdrives got it. Thanks. I'm really interested in getting one I was just scared about that RPM thing cause I thought that meant transmission isn't downshifting. Just waiting to see if I can actually find one lol they're like extinct
Peter chreyer from audi is one of hyundais top designers now you can tell new hyundais kinda look audi esque... and they poached Albert B for performance
