For a family of 7. MU-X is a dream as its 3rd row are fully functional for long drives, hope that next release they will include 360 cam making it the most complete Midsize SUV in the market.
I have both and I say it depends on your lifestyle. If you just go around the city and the nearby suburbs, the Terra looks better and has good features for city driving but if you do long driving from time to time, mu-X is tops!

For value for money the terra wins you got almost all the bells and whistles that you need in a daily use. Power tailgate is not a deal breaker you can just install it aftermarket. The mu-x are for people who have a large family because it can seat 7 people comfortably. Also you feel like you’re in a crossover because of the high belt line. Interior wise i guess the quality of the terra is a lot better but in the design perspective i think the interior of the mu-x is a lot more stylish. Also, the quality of the displays are alot more upscale on the terra. Engine wise i feel like the mu-x is a lot better. Yes it’s not as supressed than on the terra but knowing it’s an isuzu engine it’s a lot peppier and a lot more reliable. Suspension wise hands down the terra wins. For me the terra has the best suspension in the segment it’s the balance between softness and stiffness. It’s alot more composed over bumps. You can have a soft suspension like the montero but the problem with that is that it losses it’s composure over bumps therefore the ride becomes wallowy in a sense. Next is the Exterior design, it’s subjective naman but for me the terra has a lot more presence it feels more balanced and upmarket. Anyway, in conclusion you cannot go wrong with these two suv’s but the problem is the mux’s price, 2.1m for a 4x2 totl is pretty steep if you compare it to the terra 4x2 VL you get alot more tech features for a lower price. It just boils down if you wanna spend another 100k for i guess space and a reliable engine. 🙌🏻
@@yecherchong depends on the buyer if adaptive cruise is important for him or her. But for me adaptive cruise is not also a deal breaker since most of the time city driving lang bihira lang sa long drives. It’s just a matter of preference. Pero yeah sana iadd nadin nila sa terra sa refresh but the price would probably increase significantly

I enjoyed your back and forth comparison of these two vehicles - fun and informative. Like you said the final judge is the buyer and I have made my choice. It's the one that comes close in safety features and sleek design to the 2021 Ford Explorer Platinum I have here in the US Northeast. Looking forward to another dueling banter on other SUV brands/models. I hope the pricing stays in the proximity of the range discussed here when I am finally able to travel back home with less restrictions and inconvenience. More power to you three!
Terra is the most value for money from the two. Both have reliable engine but when you see both of them at personal, nissan terra is more driver centric. Very good interior, nice design and the 360 degree camera is so nice to use.

We bought a 2022 Nissan Terra VL 4x2 last year and it’s the best choice we’ve made. It’s non-powered tailgate, no auto-hold and adaptive cruise control feature is not a deal breaker at all (given it’s price point), and the third-row is best reserved for kids especially long drives. The overall exterior design of the 2022 Terra and it’s comfort ride imho is the best amongst the midsize class SUV, not to mention it’s elegant interior and NIM 💯.

Siksik din naman sa safety feature and terra on top of that nakalimutan niyo yung s rear mirror may back view camera also, third row mas madalas hindi nagagamit once in a blue moon lang nagagamit so in terms of value for money TERRA is the best kasi ang pinaka importante is comfort ng first and second row passengers lalo na yung driver

Used to drive an isuzu crosswind, then isuzu mux (first model). You can say that I'm somewhat of an isuzu fanboy. But if I had 2.5m to spend, I would buy a Terra.

Exterior I'd go for the MUX mas maganda talaga eh stylish compared sa terra hindi ko gusto yung front ng terra. Also I like the wheels of MUX more mas gusto ko mas malaki na mugs and wheels eh mas stylish para sakin. Interior I'd go for Terra yung dual color ang gand pati yung steering wheel mas maganda isama mo pa yung car seat ang stylish ng loob niya and comfort from inside dual air-conditioned sa 2nd row and TV. Since ok din naman interior ng MUX marami lang kulang compare mo sa Terra yung exterior kasi talaga hindi ko gusto sa terra pero kung icompare mo yung price for the features na makukuha mo mas sulit talaga terra. Kaso yung exterior talaga eh harap lang naman pangit pero yung visibility ok ako dun pag nag drive kasi ako mas gusto ko yung sasakyan na maganda visibility eh pati comfort ng upuan at gusto ko magaan ang steering wheel at responsive siya so terra kaso nga hindi ko gusto yung exterior yung front lang naman.

Meron din compartment/ lagayan ng tools ung mux sa likod, pero for me ill vote for MUX kasi all new yan kesa sa terra na facelifted lang, saka mas tahimik ang makina ng all new mux ang terra maingay

safety features of both are almost identical, walang 360 camera view c MUx while terra has premium quality interior, stiched leather not plastic, better AC, better infotainment system, zero gravity seats, better handling, better shock absorbers, better engine noise containment, 8 BOSE speakers at may pa TV pa! LOL

Sa gulong ang hngin pantay, fuel effiecient hndi n sama pati makina 3.0 vs 2.5 na mas tipid ang mux. Per k mter mas lamang si mux. N the long run mas tipid si mux kasi difrensya 2 klmter 17klmtr si mux n 15 klmtrs si tera. Parang Yung sa 3rd row sa overhd may clearance si mux ky ni terra.

Mux ba ,full time 4time wheel drive. Mayroon la ba ang mux ng switch selection para sa 4wheel drive, pag gusto mo ng 2wheel drive. Pipindutin mo lng ang swicht. Mga boss.

They didn't review the engine. Isuzu never built a gasoline engine. Only diesel engines. Which made the master their design, which includes timing gears. Which i safely say, after more than 2-3 times engine rebuilt, the isuzu will most probably be running. Or equivalent of 25-30 years.
Why is it that I still dont want to replace my 2013 Crossover? Model is 2013 but it's 2.2 Diesel, 196hp, with electonic steering (sport/normal/comfort), leather seats, 7-seat adj 2nd row, a.cruise control, power front hood lift, i upgraded to 9" android head unit, electronic parking brake, sunroof (which these mux and terra does not have), central diff lock ... seems like the 2021-2022 models are still catching up with a 2013 model.

Tumaas seating height sa Mux pero lumiit headroom. Less visibility sa rear yan and malamang pati storage nabawasan dahil mas mataas yung floor kapag flat yung 3rd row seats
