We purchased this car new in September 22 and it has been a lemon from the start. Airbags didn't work in bad car accident. We were hit at Approx. 70-80kmh hour whilst stationary at road on Hastings River rd Port Macquarie. My wife and I sustained injuries with chronic whiplash and other muscular and joint damage. Additional issues, one being in the first 2weeks of owning this new Jeep Compass limited the paint was peeling off the front bumper bar, the touch screen was faulty, with maps constantly dropping out, app menu freezing and the car was getting increasingly harder to start. I would not recommend a Jeep to anyone as to book in for a service with local Port Macquarie dealer takes about 6 weeks. We purchased a new Sportage GT Line Turbo diesel instead, a much better car
A lot of the annoying features that are for LHD can be easily fixed with software updates. Stellantis are penny pinching I think! Did you guys also notice the ‘OK’ button on the steering wheel turns the car from KM/H to MP/H which is crazy. Dangerously so!
Great review guys. I think I may get one of these in the second quarter 2023. I'm steering toward the Trailhawk version I think... It would be great if you could do an offroad version for us. Great electronics. Good to know one of you bloke's could plug in a hair dryer...

You can't take it through serious water or mud there is no under car protection you will drown it. The reversing camera is pathetic at night and in rain you can't see a thing. The interior lights are as dim as a candle. The seats are not soft leather they are quite. hard. Major work on the engine will be costly because of the lack of space under the bonnet. Et etc etc.
