Jetour is a fast-expanding SUV brand under Chery Auto. The brand sells nine different SUVs, including petrol, PHEV, and EV power trains. The Dasheng is the first of a new line of Jetour cars, specifically aimed at a younger generation of car buyers
Jetour will use the architecture for an entire series of new cars, ranging from pickup trucks to SUVs to cool 4×4 off-roaders. There will be three power train options for the Dasheng: a 1.5 turbo, a 1.5 turbo PHEV, and a 1.6 turbo. Base versions get a front-wheel drive, and high-end versions have a four-wheel drive.
the Jetour Dasheng is not trivial, but this is only for now - later it will become a three-engine "super hybrid" with a total output of over 300 horsepower. Now it is available for order only with a 1.5-liter 156-horsepower petrol turbo engine and a more powerful supercharged 1.6-liter engine producing 197 horsepower. The base unit is combined with the "mechanics" or "robot", and the older one - only with the "robot". The drive can only be front-wheel drive because the full one will become the exclusive prerogative of the hybrid version.
