Not a how to video, just a little time wasting watching me speed my way through the checks and oil change.

Nice. I've been watching your videos (and others) because I'm thinking of getting one of the new fuel injected KLRs in the next couple of months. I really like that orange color but like the lights and boxes of the Adventure. I wish there was a color choice on the adventure. I sure regretted the day I sold my 2014 KLR and had a heart attack when they "ceased production" back in 2022. The re-release of the new version is a sign to get back on the saddle. Love seeing the areas you ride and watching great areas around the PNW. I'm in SW Washington where there's plenty to explore on the occasional Sunday ride. Thanks for sharing!

The change to EFI was my sign :) The only thing to consider about the Adventure model is are those cases big enough? Dork in the Road quickly found out they were not. I've been looking at some roads in the Raymond area. Looks to be some decent amount but as of yet I have not been there (for off pavement riding)

Are those the Moose Racing Onyx foot pegs? And do they happen to be the 1/2” rear offset ones? If so I’m curious to hear how you like them and if you could give me the part number for them. I have ‘22 and the Moose racing fitment guides do not list the KLR for any of their pegs. I’m a big guy with a men size 14 boot so I’m trying to get some extra space and grip.

Nice looking bike. I’m still trying to decide if I should upgrade from my 07 Klr. What tail bag is that?

First KLR I've owned so don't have experience comparing them. Adventure Tomek has a Gen 2 and rode a new one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-J6QXW3Iz5Dw.html Bag: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Z62A2_H_adQ.html Other Mods: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IUPL9j3LeJg.html

You forgot to tap your engine case with a dead blow hammer while adjusting the doohickey

I appreciate you looking out for me, but I purposely don't show all the steps because I don't want people to use my videos as how tos. Advice given on the internet holds no consequences for the giver of advice so I work hard to not give (even if implied). Just covering my rear :)

Great video. What model is the green bike you have there? Is it a 2022 Versys or some other Kawasaki ? Are U happy with the KLR in the highway or does it need a 6th gear like some say ? As long as U can sit on 65mph or 70mph tops for a few hours. Thoughts ?

2015 Versys. If you need/want to spend that kind of time at that speed on the Freeway, buy a different bike.

I think it's PitBull. Not sure about model name if they have more than one.

Nice video. You did the balancer Chain (Doohickey) Adjustment at 600 miles....a little premature isn't it?
@BMRTV

I thought it's in the manual/schedule. I'll have to double check when I get a chance.

@@BMRTV I believe the 1st adjustment is 8000 miles / 12000 kms.

I bought a transmission sizzor lift from Habor Freight $100 that can lift just the back or front wheel or the whole bike depending were you place it.

Not a bad video. However, you have made a huge error. Never inspect a dirty bike for leaks and signs of wear. Wash it, run it a few miles, then do everything you’re doing. My skin is crawling having to watch that
