At the end of January 2022 we went to check several places on the west side of the Lake Simcoe. We drove all way from GILFORD at the Cooskbay to Minets Point park in Barrie. We did check where we can park our cars and get out fishing. Unfortunately, in most places there is no lake access ( all private properties or no parking , no tresspassing signs. Some places had huge parking fees or parking fines. Overall looks like Lake Simcoe community don't like outsiders, unless they pay hefty $10/hour or max $50 parking fee per day to stay.
