I only get 14km/L on the highway (expressway) with a speed of 95-100kph on radar cruise control. In the city, I get 7-8km/L. Right now, my average fuel consumption is 9.7km/L (based on the gauge and fuel status monitor on the infotainment). Trade off is fuel economy if you want a nice to drive car. Came to terms with that before I bought it.
you can go with the 2.5 G if you want something a little less "gas guzzling" performance wise on the road, the CX5 takes the win by a long shot. Cornering, over taking, and just a daily drive its actually very fun. glad mazda took the approach of not using the CVT.
Got curious with title itself. This mazda retails for 2.38M while the forester xt retails for less roughly 2.1M. I guess we need a comparo. Pretty please. Nevertheless great review with pros and cons. Wish fuel consumption during slow moving trarric was mentioned
There is no Forester XT turbo anymore in PH showrooms. Just the 2.0L non turbo. In traffic it was 5.5 kml at a really slow 15 kmh average rainy Friday night traffic.
Planning to purchase my first car. Would love to hear anyone's insight: City driving lang and paminsan-minsan na out of town First choice: Honda HRV Turbo Mid variant (P1.5m) Second Choice: Geely Coolray top variant (P1.2m) Third Choice: Mazda CX-5 SPORT SkyActive-G 2.0 (P1.8m) Fourth Choice: Ford Ranger 4x2 (P 1.5m) So far ito yung mga nasa list ko gusto ko marinig. Thanks in advance!
If HRV is available go for it if it is a for purpose of a daily commuter car. Your 2nd 3rd and 4th choice are not that fuel efficient relatively. But as far as we have inquired about it, you will wait a very long time just to get one. I, will just personally get the Mazda CX-5 if I cannot wait that long.
That's why u see less Mazda out there as this brand is really not cost efficient. competitors of this brand offers a much better deal (features, space and speed) IMO 2.3 not worth it.
everything about it is great…..it just looks old and outdated when compared to other cars. also, for the price, you are actually paying for the 5 year FREE PMS.
Overpriced and gas guzzling way to transport from point A to point B. But I wish another brand had that awesome Soul Red Premium Metallic, which would be awesome with the Okavango
Very strong engine and very premium interior but exteriorly outdated. It will look ancient besides the all new hyundai tucson and all new kia sportage.
