@@justsayin5084 So you can't see the obvious atrophy, those deeper quad dents, the inflammation in the glutes???? I'm a Ramy fan too but you need to open your eyes like me and the others have, he's MUCH worse here than 2020.
What are you talking about, exactly? I’m hearing people describing what they saw right in front of their eyes while also giving Ramy respect as a past champion and praising him as one of the nicest and most beloved competitors in the sport.
Youre so right ramy has been used for fame and now that he won twice his body cant take all the shit anymore, hes gonna have health problems soon is he choose to continue to pursue the title next year
Dennis is deluded. The pictures he’s uploaded saying Ramy looked on point, look the same as Ramy on stage. Wider waist and all the same atrophy and issues
: ) He's been pretty much the same in all three shows. Saw him row one at Arnold UK - Fr Relaxed, FDB, FLS and A+T he is unreal / Other quarter turns, SC, ST, BDB, BLS, MM is beatable. That being said, he's had a great first year.
Dennis seems to be in denial about Ramys issues. He accepts that Ramy has these issues, but he seems to think because Ramy was gifted the Olympia in the past with said issues, that he was going to be gifted the title again this year.
@@newonevery740 Steve Weinberger, the head judge said that if Ramy shows up same as in 2021 he loses. Forget all these RU-vidrs. I put more weight on Steve's word.
Dennis, never compare Ramy with Ronnie ever again,he wasn't even close to Ronnie's 2003 condition, not even close man, have some respect for what Ronnie brought at the 2003 Olympia, because Remy wasn't even close man, but still a great podcast though 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾
I agree with you to a point. Remember Ronnie had a really bad bubble gut whereas Ramy has always had a very tight waist especially when you consider his proportions.
The main gripe is how was the interpretation of what was expected of Ramy so wrong when Chad and Dennis saw him week by week, even day by day. They even said this would be Ramy's version of Coleman's 2003 transformation. We were told he would be absolutely at his best. If this were a fight with bets on. People would be Piiiissssed because they hyped Ramy so much. This wasn't wasn't even a condition issue. Chad brought him in condition. But he was missing bodyparts, that was overlooked that much? No triceps? Lats down? Lower back worse?
My guy, you hit the nail ABSOLUTELY on the head! This is the thing that bugged me- how we were hyped up from week to week, even daily, about how unbelievable the physique Ramy was going to bring would be. The conditioning was perfect, but atrophied/missing body parts like you stated! It's a combination of age and perhaps the training methods used for Ramy need to be switched up.
Do you know what it mean to come in flat? One miscalculation especially when you’re chasing conditioning for a guy his size is all it takes for it to happen. Bodybuilding is subjective and everyone knows that - you can’t “bet” on shit in this sport lol - there ain’t no sure wins. Ever. A bodybuilders physique can change Min to Min let alone day to day before a show. The video of him posing one week out is on the internet and he looked great…..that’s not the physique we saw on stage.
This clown Dennis keeps saying Ramy was flat 😂😂 the problem wasn’t his condition bro he had muscle problems lol half of his back was gone ,triceps were gone ,holes in his quads , inflammation in his glutes !!! N Dennis keeps saying he was just flat lol😂😂😂😂
Every one of these other RU-vidrs seen these things before the O and still thought he was gonna I don’t get why Dennis is taking so much heat over this stupid shit
Why? You act as if bodybuilders come in perfect shape every show and never age or never decline. It happens so stop playing the blame game and being a sissy. The game is not over but even if it was what does it mean to ramy or Dennis when a troll like you says it. Dennis is a great coach and ramy was still top 6 and was a great champ.
So let me get this straight. When Ramy is the champ Dennis rides on his cocktails and get tons of money from Ramy’s sponsors, but when Ramy is looking like shit, he doesn’t ask questions… I see.
BTW ramy didn't look like s..t Come on man you could be more respectful the end of the day his much better people like you. At least his not set his ass in the couch like use .
What Dennis is not getting is that all of ramys issues were extremely noticeable now more than past 2 years. Yes he’s had them but in 2020 he was peaked so well you didn’t notice as much but now it seems father time is catching him
@@j-uk2189 that’s all genetics lmao and those guys weren’t all shot up with nerve damage and atrophy. Kevin used to take months off of gear and training that preserves the body a lot. Kevin def didn’t look his best at 50. Father Time is all relative to genetics and how bad you beat the body
@@anth2290 Dorian had a tricep and bicep tear in his 30’s. He also had zero coach. So why is Ramy só beat up, considering today we know so much more about everything?
@@user-xn6ej5pt5u it Seems to me whoever works with Chad gets fucked up very quickly. Ronnie got fucked and there’s a lot more. Shawn Ray said it about this guy a few times.
When you hear a guy like Chris wondering how they've got striated glutes - yet everything else is smooth, it really hits home how open bodybuilding has changed!
Tells you all you need to know how much of a joke Olympia thong wars really is. They even managed to fuck up the live stream. Can't get anything right.
Mens open was the longest wait ever! So many divisions and competitors drags the show. That could of hurt the competitors peaking. They need better scheduling for sure
Excellent podcast as always guys. Typically when a bodybuilder doesn’t do so well we dissect the reasons or possibilities and focus on the why. I truly think Ramy just didn’t peak properly simple and plain. Now I think Dennis is spot on Ramy should do the Arnold start the year off with a win then about 9 months to prep for the Olympia. Keep these round table discussions coming Im looking forward to the next one already.
I'm surprised Milos would say Cutler came back in 09 so Rami can also. Cutler was not injured he just missed his Peak. Ramy has a lot of muscular flaws now. Big difference.
@@MilosSarcevOfficialRU-vidPage It gets sad at the end like Nasser his physique was just ruined. Ramy wont look better again. It will be like Ronnies last couple years.
@@jkbjezza The government's working on that just give them time😉 I don't care what he does I'm just saying it's sad to see. I hope he's just smart enough to really reevaluate and think about his health while he still has it. I've watched so many before him destroy their health.
Dennis is wrong about "nobody is responsible to explain nothing to nobody." He's one of Ramy's coaches, Ramy is a professional athlete who makes his living because the fans of bodybuilding spend their hard-earned money watching the sport and supporting him and his coaches. If it weren't for the fans of BB, Dennis James wouldn't have a job as a BB coach. He didn't have any problem getting on RU-vid prior to the Olympia and getting all of the fans excited to see what Ramy was going to look like at the contest, but now that Ramy came in 5th place, he doesn't feel he owes the fans an explanation? As for his statement that he doesn't give a care about what anybody thinks? Come on! If he didn't care about what anybody thinks he wouldn't be reading all of the messages and comments. What do you all think?
You can clearly see that the comments affected him. Wasnt the same Dennis today Like in all the previous Shows. And i bet He knows exactly whats "wrong" with Ramy& that this Mr.O was his last one. Remenber what Steve said on the Podcast about Ramy...
That part of the podcast really pissed me off. He wouldn't have had a career as a bb without fans, he wouldn't be a coach and he wouldn't have a podcast if it weren't for all of us, so he's disregarding for people's opinion is just ridiculous and very disrespectful. Of course he should address the criticism, of course he should care about what we have to say and of course he should answer to the people that now feel were lied to and mislead (sorry about my English, but it's not my first language)
Dennis is in complete denial of Ramy’s issues. Ramy was squeezing his shoulders and lats together on back double biceps. It looked like a high schooler pose. His lower back is a problem especially when you have other competitors with a lower back or a shorter torso. Ramy doesn’t need yes men around him.
@@its-amestarlord Bodybuilding is obviously not a healthy sport.. everyone in the sport knows that, but you can mitigate 99% of risks with proper coaching and following certain protocols. With your logic, no sport is healthy, because there are chances of getting injured.
James denying everything , Farrah needs sacking by Andrew Jacked here's a thought guys take responsibility Dennis if nothing needs saying why did you immediately deny everything
I liked what Dennis said about reading the negative comments and laughing about them. I think it makes weak people feel better to bash others. I’m not talking criticism, but people will say the craziest things. It’s like ramy fans have to put the blame on everyone and give zero blame to ramy. It’s like they never follow bodybuilding before and don’t understand people can come in off. It’s not like you can’t improve. I hope ramy comes back and I have no doubt Chad and Dennis will continue to coach top bodybuilders. Great show as always!
I really like DJ, but obviously you do care or you wouldn't have made the post essentially blaming Chad. So to act like " I don't care what people say, I have thick skin" etc....you can't say that now and a few days ago had made the post saying " everything was good when Ramy was in my hands, I'm not sure what happened after that"
Exactly , don't hype up Ramy, going as far as calling him a 2003 Ronnie. It's actually a disgrace you went that far and presented a broken down physique hardly worth the top 10.
10:35 I laughed my as off and must have replayed 15 times just to see everyone’s reactions ! Dennis ! George ! and Chris pointing at himself , like I said that ? That was the best ! Thank you guys and thank you Dennis, you made my Christmas!
@@MilosSarcevOfficialRU-vidPage Milos I will meet you someday and from the time I competed in the NPC and on through your career and coaching you were an inspiration to me. You may not have placed high in the mass monster era , but your physique was the one me and many others were striving for ! Wishing you health and success in the coming new year . I will meet you soon hopefully, really love your input !
Also nick beat Sampson! I love milos but I wonder if he gets to carried away with shape. It’s a part of bodybuilding but why would it not be rated behind conditioning and muscle size? It takes work to get that much lean muscle, but does it take any work to get structure? No it takes the least amount. Your bone structure is all genetics. I don’t want to see people get taken out of contention because their shape isn’t good enough. I’m not saying shape shouldn’t count, but putting it over conditioning and muscle size I don’t agree with. Just my opinion.
Because bodybuilding WAS about having the best looking physique combined with size and conditioning. Shape means everything. No one wants to see big ugly muscular bodies. Inferior genetics should not be celebrated and should not represent bodybuilding.
You don't judge AMOUNT OF WORK someone puts in... You judge a physique. Many people are saying - Dorian was HARDEST WORKER....would not let anyone out-work him... He "worked/trained" 4 hours a week - MAX. I know people who did 5 times that much... But, that's irrelevant. If you can look like Mr Olympia - without even training - you should win it even without breaking a sweat. Our sport is called: BODYBUILDING Its not the same as MUSCLEBUILDING 🤫
No one is talking about what potentially really screwed many of the competitors and that's the ridiculous time the event took place. If the event Pre-Judge was at 9 am for Open on Friday and Finals Saturday at 6 PM it would have been one of the craziest battles ever happened.
Milos: Hope you are recovering from COVID well. Your video of posing instruction with Flex Wheeler to help Andrew was super educational. Thank you for all you do 🙏
Hes literally a nicks hater its sad to listen him… someone should just tell him that no one cares about his samsons shape if he looks like on off season mini cut
🤔...if I express my opinion....and actually someone gets offended - I shouldn't bring back the topic and discuss it in more detail? I asked the question....and Jose answered instantly... Listen to it again. BTW - I love Jose and how objective and knowledgeable he really is. ❤🙌🏻
@@Ziaurelijus - I literally love Nick. And admire him a great deal. I just pointed out one thing (that should be obvious to everyone 🤫). Who's physique is better. But, there are many things that come in play when you judge the show...and his better conditioning obviously played a major role...but the point I was trying to make is still there. 😉
@@MilosSarcevOfficialRU-vidPage of course you're allowed to bring up the topic again. I'm just surprised that you didn't also take the opportunity to bring up how overrated academic fitness studies are while George was on the podcast lol
Congratulations 🎊 to NICK WALKER on Winning the People’s Champion Award 🥇 and I feel he with his strong mindset will be back to Win the next Olympia 23
I actually had Lundsford in 4th in my pre Olympia prediction based on his shape. He actually blew my mind when he walked out more than any other athlete did..I don't think that baby muscle is going to change on Derek. His frame and muscle shape is phenomenal, but I don't see that changing that hardness of his pecs. That was always an issue with Jay Cutler. He always had that lack of hardness look through his chest and outer biceps. It just has a doughy look like it grew too fast!
I think the more he competes it will harden up especially working with hady in the upcoming years, he’s only 29 and he put on over 20 lbs of muscle in one season. If he puts on 3-5 more lbs especially in the legs and focuses on detail he will win in my opinion
14:15 Really? The head judge Steve Weinberger openly said that Ramy got worse compared to 2021. Worse in the back, worse in the triceps and worse in the holes in the quads. As a bonus Ramy's calves look atrophied too. These guys think we are blind.
Goerge farah, please let Andrew go to Hany rambod, or at least Milos sarcev. Those who would make Andrew easily win the olympia. You are good, but you should please leave Andrew and let him go to any of them. no disrespect.
Bodybuilding is a tough sport to nail conditioning in the last couple days. I only competed on the regional level back in the late 80s, and was only in the low 200s, and experienced tremendous fluctuations those last few days...I can only I imagine how much a 300 lber can change! I still think Ramy has some serious nerve issues explaining the lower lats, erectors, triceps...and someone should have told him to shift his trunks to cover the welts up on his butt. It's easy to armchair QB...All these guys are amazing specimens when it's said and done
When Ramy looked excellent and being tipped the front runner to win Dennis was saying how Ramy was looking insane and even showing photos on his mobile on podcasts. THEN when things went wrong and Ramy got 5th he sort of steered away from the sinking ship so to speak and said that he does not know what happened since its the coach who is in control of things. Just like he was bluffing with Ramys check-in pics he should have included himself in the downfall. Had Ramy won, Dennis have acted that the ‘RAMY-NICHOLLS-DENNIS squad’ had once again won the Olympia, like he had done during the past two years. Yes, of course the coach is the one in control in the final stage but you still have to include yourself and not brush off the responsibility because if Ramy had won, he would have said he was part of the successful team. So if you lose you are part of the losing team too.
Two show tiers for pros Tier 2 show winners have a till the end of the following colander year where they can compete at tier 1 shows (If you win in say March 2023 you have until the end of 2024 to compete in a tier 1 show) Tier 1 show winners qualify for the Olympia and you stay qualified for tier 1 shows until the end of the following calendar year Only top 3 at the Olympia re-qualify Pro shows can have tier 1 & 2 line ups at same show
it's always very funny to watch how everyone comes up with all these excuses after the competition to explain why they didn't do well hahaha just tell the truth, you all didn't do well enough, period!!!!
Come on guys Samson is 37 years old he's not going to all of a sudden develop a Lee Haney back! He's got a great physique just needs to continually refine now Reagan Grimes on the other hand has that back potential can't wait to see what he brings in another year!
He definitely will get better for next year I mean ronnie was 35 when he won his first O! Don't say Andrew wins the O next year but who knows he is looking crazy everybody said that in real life he doesn't look even human iain said backstage this dude looked like something out of this world and everybody else looked like they no even working out like absolute amateurs! When dude brings his back up a bit and gets conditioned he is a contender for that title.
Yes. Steven straight up said that the regression of lower back and triceps hurt Ramy. Steve is a straight shooter. Even in 2018 he openly said that Phil lost because of his stomach distention.
Sorry I don’t know why everyone is so in love with Brandeo. He’s good but I agree Milos the dude honestly needs 15-20 lbs of muscle. He looked like a little guy near the top guys. I’m all set with him.
