In NCAA these contests occur after season ends so they don't care about injuries. In NBA, these contests occur during the season and so good dunkers really don't participate. NBA definitely has better dunker, way better !
I don't understand why they added a "3 dunk attempts" rule to the 30 seconds time limit (to make a dunk). A dunker can barely make 3 attempts in 30 seconds anyway. And the "jump = attempt" rule is ridiculous. I suppose they did it to prevent a "Jalen Green" debacle but with the 30 seconds time limit, it can't happen (you don't have time to lace up your Tim's either)... Without that rule, Sean Miller-Moore would have been in the finals (his last attempt was a 40)

Nba needs to stop the gimmicks, stop the 45min presentation and laser shows before and during the contest (goddam drum roll before each dunk)?? Wtf. go back to old school format, bring back 8 competitors and not 4 & 2 or even 3 dunks rd 1.
