I'm considering ordering a Frontier SV LWB, but I'm on the fence. It's a decent upgrade from the previous model, which I owned (twice), but there are a few basic features missing from this trim that are real head scratches. There are no heated seats in the LWB even though the previous model had them. LED headlights are not available. Sunroof is not available. There is no excuse for omitting these basic features on a nearly $40k truck. I like the new Frontier but I'm not sure if it's worth the much higher price. The best thing the previous Frontier had going for it was its excellent value, which is now gone.
I just bought a 2022 frontier s crew cab same color as this one - I love it 😀 I've had it a couple weeks it's very fast and drives very nice. I traded a 2020 Outlander for it. The steering and transmission get better after a few hundred miles
Got my Frontier SV 4X4 this past Thursday! Rides like a dream! Super smooth transmission and it’s got some giddy up with that 310 HP. I’m 6 ft tall and this truck is deceptively larger than it looks in videos. It’s almost the same size as some older full size trucks. Haven’t tried the 4WD yet but we’re about to get hit with a huge snowstorm so I’ll test it out soon enough. You get used to the hydraulic steering after a few days. Cabin heats up quick despite not having rear vents
Why the Ford Ranger with the vaunted 4 Banger? Not to mention it’ll shut off when you come to a stop unless you disable that function upon startup. Give me a non turbo 6 banger any day.
