Ok, so I absolutely adore my new Juke hybrid( the highest specification) I have no clue about cars but just updated from v big diesel X1 BMW to this new hybrid as I think this is way forward. I am still learning about hybrid drive ( best result was 81MPG but usually 58-64 so far) I can already say that I am totally in love in this lovely modern, quirky suv. It's spacious enough for solo town drivers. Thank you for honest review xx
I bought it as well and waiting for it Can I ask you is boot space good enough for small family? How good is the acceleration(for overtaking ,going through roundabouts)?
@@harisaves3334 its very sharp for me ...only down side I feel (to compare to my previous car) is ...getting up the hills -you will see the struggle otherwise nippy and great to dive in town About boot space- its great for me ( solo driver)I keep my work stuff under the floor and rest space great for shopping, all the best and good luck!!

Excellent review, clear informative, finally someone who can review a car and not thinking everyone is a F1 driver.
MX-5 has speakers in the headrest, Tish. Agree, love those analogue switches and dials. This Juke, looks so much better than the last monstrosity. Great review, though. You and Matt (of Car Wow) are the best on RU-vid at the mo.
I actually really love the JUKE line got the previous version looking to upgrade to this latest model, however I do wish they just added a sky roof that would be sweet
I have just upgraded my tekna plus to the tekna hybrid which will be ready end of October. The test drive of the hybrid was lovely and it is actually going to be cheaper on the insurance too. My current car is on a 71 plate and I decided to upgrade now while my car has a higher resale value. I specifically did not want plug in hybrid or all electric because of the extortionate electricity costs. The hybrid seems the way forward to me. Personally I love the Juke
I wouldn't touch an electric car with a bargepole. The push for everyone to drive BEV is a bad move and fraught with many issues which will all unravel in years to come.
I ordered my replacement 2019 Juke in February 2022. Due to a problem with obtaining microprocessors from China delivery was delayed. In August I was still waiting when the dealer rang to ask if I’d like to test drive the new hybrid because they were being delivered more quickly. I ordered it and was told it would arrive in November 2022. Then I was told it would be January 2023. I’m still waiting although they say end of March I should take delivery. It’s been over a year and I am really getting sick of waiting. If it doesn’t arrive by the end of this month I will cancel my order.
Good review. Analogue dials are old school, makes it look dated. In this hybrid segment, the Yaris cross wins easily with its fuel economy + it has a digital driver display. No contest.
I have the Tekna+ version of the 1.0l 3 cylinder turbo petrol version, and I can tell you now, I love it!! It's the best car I've had, in my budget of course! It's nippy when you need it, smooth when you don't, the tech is all there, it's got it all, however yes is is a bit dated now, like the screen software is old and leggy, something that could easy be fixed with a new software/firmware, the hardware is already built into the car, they just don't use it to It's best, which is a shame, but still, I love it, no car truly is perfect and has everything after all! I get pretty good mileage, best I've had out of mine was 52.4 mpg!!! As for this Hybrid version, I think it's nothing but a gimmick, to say they have some 'something electric' to it, as for its performance and eco stats, it really isn't worth the extra money! Stick with the petrol 1.0l version.
I was thinking about leasing a 1.0 petrol version. I'm not really sure this hybrid really merits the premium. The economy figures seem little different. Incidentally, I like the traditional dials. You still have the digital screen in the middle.
I've got a 2018 Mazda 2. It's been great. Was thinking about getting a Juke (non hybrid) model for a change. I like the idea of a small SUV. Sadly Mazda have no rival for the Juke since they axed the CX-3.
Hi. I like this car because I have a Nissan juke from 2013 which I feel comfortable with. I would like to get the new one I think this version is fantastic. In the future maybe I'm going to get it. thank you.
Interesting review Tish, Grille is a silly idea, air should go through the wheels to help keep things cool, Jatco transmission’s are not great, Nissan was never really as good when Renault took over in 2000, would probably be better of leasing one, my last Nissan was a 300 ZX about 10 years ago
I don't think they tend to mention prices because they are worried about putting people off. But for me it's an essential part of the review. At the start there should be a graphic with the price, power, 0 - 60 and MPG. Then delve into the review and we can see if the specs on paper add up
@@robsmall6466 they mention it if it's good value. If it isn't, they'll keep it quiet in the hope you'll fall hopelessly in love and buy it regardless of cost once you get to the dealers and find out it's 10k more than you expected.
Its about 30K for tekna+ but ...BUT this car is produced in UK and is available now or within short wait ...so considering waiting time on current market that answers a lot.
@@iwonabarwikowska4295 if that's correct then let that sink in. £30k for a Nissan Juke. No Nissan. Just no. Unless you want to do a proper Nismo version and not just a body kit
Good progression on previous models & naturally "hybrid". But needs to improve on the "quoted fuel consumption figures" to compete. Also like most new cars it has the terrible glossy finishes inside. Just wish this fad would go away. Yes I drive a Toyota Yaris, but like this Juke.
I don’t understand. Surely this brand new hybrid should be averaging 80-90 mpg instead of 45 mpg? What’s the point of it other than reducing pollution on the school run (which is obviously important and might be the only justification for this kind of inefficient hybrid).
Great review. I’ve got a Mini Cooper Convertible but wanting something bigger and I love the look of the Juke. I wish they’d modernise the steering wheel and dash though. Drove my partners CH-R and loved the hybrid and being higher up.
Not a fan of the Nissan Juke (or should I call it: Nissan Joke). I feel like there is a Nissan Juke hell in the UK; everywhere I go, I see that piece of junk. I’d have a Toyota Yaris Cross hybrid instead, cos that has AWD as an option.
