Wow. The Ollie Lang tribute just gave me chills. And as a 32 year old man watching him and Chris Lasoya play back in the day. This nailed exactly how I felt.
Facts man. Also 32, I stopped playing a decade ago, and only barely paid attention to the sport. I started keeping tabs on it again a few months before cup, and when I saw the murmurs that Ollie was coming back I was right back to being a teenager. Seeing the crumbs on social media of him getting back on the field slowly building to watching his first time on the field at cup was surreal, and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t choke up watching him make it right to the 50 off the break. It was emotionally intense in a way that I’m sure it was for many like us. Didn’t realize how much it would mean to me to see him back. Needless to say, I can’t wait to start playing again.
Following HK army for some time, I've had the privilege of watching HK videos shot and edited by Cassidy Sanders back in the day. This was a refreshing video to watch. Super well done by whoever put this piece together.

Absolutely crucial to the game of paintball - Oliver's return, Dynasty's continued dominance, the fury of the breakouts, the film, MATTY MARSHALL UNDERLINING THE IMPORTANCE OF THE GOAT TO SO MANY PEOPLE - one thing that he said "This is a special thing that exists in the framework of the human species". The harness of anger toward a sport that you intend to win will always be interesting to those who lack the grit and the resilience. PAINTBALL IS TRULY AN AMAZING GAME - whether or not I continue to play, it will be forever something that I watch and encourage others to watch as well. Guys this video was absolutely brilliant.

It's about Paintball, World Cup, Oliver Lang, Old & New, bunkering, violence, speed, momentum...wait...yea that also describes paintball as well as a highly decorated video game streamer but it's one in the same baby! Tbh it's been a while since a paintball vid has gotten me fired up like this. Just everything about it is fire. The music, the action, the narrative from Matty, the return of the king. If i only ever make it to one nxl event I'm glad it was this one. 🔥
been out of the sport for 20 years . played for my first time yesterday in 20 years and I just remember how much i loved this sport . Im getting geared up and am going to start playing again. this sport brings you so much happiness, competitive spirit, and comradery . Just got to let these ankles recoup lol 36 years old . im definitely hooked again
10:05 Wow that was very dangerous! I don't see anyone noticing that here... I'm glad Oliver was ok in the sequence. Chad almost went at Oliver with his gun pointing at his face. It reminds me of what happened to Trevor Resar a couple years ago. NXL again doing that bunker layout in the middle causes this.
How have I not been watching these paintball battles. It’s awesome !! Would someone please tell me how points are scored and how it’s judge etc? Thanks in advance !
Points scored when you hit the buzzer or the other team conceded the points. When time runs out, whoever has the most points wins the match. I’d it’s tied it’ll go into 1v1 to win it all
I appreciate paintball. Let’s fucking go ladies and gentlemen!!!! Better yourself from last weekend. Do that extra drill. Work more so you can get that extra box of paint. Push yourselves!!!
