Love the new tires. Planning to upsize mine as well but need to stay 50. Like the idea of keeping the old set and swapping when I’m heading to 50” trials. Can’t wait to hear how they perform when you get some miles on them. Really curious if you will have any rubbing. Thanks for the video!
I have the same machine, I love it, I've been with it for more than a year and I haven't had any problems. Very good videos. I already subscribed to your channel. Maybe one day we will share a route in PA.
I have same machine and installed a set of SunF 28x9x12 on front and 28x11x12 on rear with stock wheels and can squish through strict 50” trails with no problem. Great Video! Thanks
I don't know how these tire manufacturers get away with misleading their customers, I have the trail S with 27 inch tires and when I measured the tire it's 26 inches. and like you mentioned, it is very hard to find tires with a 12 inch rim, I'm going to upgrade to 14 inch rims when my tires wear out. The manufactures of these rims really should consider making the hole a larger diameter so you can get a socket in there to tighten the Lugnuts, I had some rims similar to that, and it was impossible to get the socket in there to tighten the lug nut, if you have to change your tire out on the trail and there's mud in those holes you'll never be able to get the dang socket in there to remove the tire.
Hello and thank you for your comment. It's funny how all the tire companies do it too. We ended up getting a special lugnut tool, but you're right about the mud thing. We carry a spay bottle of water with us for the windshield so I guess in a pinch we could wash the mud out with that. Thanks for watching! Ed and Lisa
Hello. Overall We love the bandits, we're glad we made the investment. As a matter of fact we ordered Bandit springs for the Ace. Thank you for watching
Interested to what it does to the balance I lifted mine (with stock tires and wheels) and had to put spacers on to counter balance the lift ang get back to 50
Well we went with an offset wheel so we are wider than 50 now. We are probably sitting at maybe 53 in maybe 54 in, but we have found that that little added width made a huge difference in the stability of the machine and with that little added width at the tires gave it also provided us clearance to put on the nerf bars to protect the body of the machine
I have the original tires and wheels. Someone suggested that I put Rzr rims on my Ranger as more than half Rzr owners upgrade rims and tires. Not sure if Rzr rims will work on a Ranger. Mine are 12” steel and would like to go with an aluminum rim.
You do have to be careful with tires and wheels. We watch this one RU-vidr on occasion and he tried to put trail s tires and wheels onto his trail 50 and they didn't fit. But I'm sure you could take measurements both whole diameters and what not and see if they are compatible. But yeah my stock ones. They're just sitting in a shed. We haven't decided what to do with them. I was going to check to see if they would fit on my son's CF moto because then he'd have a complete set of spares.
We have not experienced any rubbing at all with our current setup. Sorry for the late delay. I never saw your question. My apologies, thank you for watching
@@mudhawk7353 your machine looks great and I agree about it's stance, it looks so much more stable now. I think I will go this route myself if I bite the bullet and get one.
@@gatorunleashed275 thank you for the compliment. Yes, we really like the new look as well. At our age there really is no going back to an ATV. We find the side by side so much more comfortable! If you do choose to go the route of side by side, do your homework. There are some companies that offer what appear to be very nice side by side but they're considerably less expensive than Polaris but I'm not going to throw a plug out at CF Moto. I'm just saying do your homework lol
Thank you for your question. We got our tire carrier off of eBay and it's called tusk rear tire mounted spear carrier for the Polaris RZR. It was 163 in change. Thank you for watching
Tires did pretty good the roads were mostly rain soaked dirt woods roads no deep mud holes Did a good sand hill climb got me up with no problem a lot of road noise on paved roads so far I like them just wish I would of went larger
I believe our offset was four to one and has worked out well with the exception that now we're looking for some mud flaps because not so much off the front tires but off the rear we get a lot of mud and dirt going up into the trunk area. Thank you for watching
