Do u have a video of how you got behind the radio. I have 2021 and want to get behind the radio. I’m not sure what the steps are and what needs to be removed.
I just bought a 2023 S with the technology package and about to upgrade my headunit. Bought everything from slingmods, do you know which wires are the speaker wires. I'm installing everything myself.
You can see the amp mounted in the center behind the radio, you can match the wire colors from the back of speaker pods and match them at the amp, really simple. The tweeter word same thing, it has smaller guage wire plugs in each corner visible with the hood open behind the tweeters
86 goes to the transmission trigger wire (-negative signal) 85 and 87 goes to ignition (+positive) 30 is your output to the radio reverse trigger wire. I grabbed accessory from the cigarette lighter plug in the glove box from the engine compartment side
What RCA video cable did you use to splice into the factory video wire? Also was it as simple as cutting the red video wire and splicing it to a yellow video RCA and plugging into the back of the radio?
Yes, just a standard video rca was used to splice into the existing wiring behind the plug. Once soldiered, simply plug rca into camera spot. Make sure youve added power to the camera as well of course.
