I started out as a roller man. A coon killed all my rollers so I transitioned to homers. He's loved pigeons since he was 5 years old. I got some stories coming up I'll post this weekend from him.
hi from scotland hope you all doin fine , i love this guy , a life time dedication , i could listen to him for hours , i agree with him we must try keep them natural , i am sorry he cant get around loft so easy now but good he makes it for his convenience , i am trying to get started again after over 30 years without , i am tryin to find a place big enough so i can build lofts, i dont know much about racing in US but gary one af my favourites
Thanks Jack. He’s chock full of good ideas. He came up with pigeons in a time when club members wouldn’t teach the new guys anything. So he & Rick Mardis would travel to clubs outside their area to learn. The old guys in our club keep no secrets. “The hobby is dying & we need everyone we can get & we need them to have some success and stick with it” is the general consensus.
