Mas lamang ang xps30 sa interface/controls for sure, pero sa sound mas prefer ko yung mx61. Di ko rin expect yon, gara pala tumunog nyang mx61. Pareho naman ok, for me lang mas nagustuhan ko tunog ng yamaha sa comparison na to. Keep it up bro. More vids!
Thank you sa comment, bro!. Mukhang after decades na Roland user, mag change brand na ako. Tama na mas lamang ang xps30 sa interface/controls. Ang concern lang sa mx61 is mahal sya for an entry level synth. Lagi naman sila pricey e. hehe. And yung Audio output signal, mababa, compared sa ibang synth. Need mag boost ng gain, mga nasa +6 to +9 dB.
Pina nood ko ulit tol. Nagandahan talaga ako sa piano ng yamaha. Lalo sa Demo 6 (4:49 Minutes) Yung resonance at sustain eh.. Natural! Kung sa solo piano swak na swak yan. Though pag sa full band na, palagay ko mas magka cut yung piano ng Roland.
Nakakatuwa na di ako nag iisa sa sentiments ko. noon pa nasa radar ko na tong mx61. mas mahal sya sa xps30 at wala din stock ng mx61 nung bumili ako. though di naman ako nagsisi sa xps30 kasi ang ganda talaga lalo na in terms of navigating and patch switching (patch remain). Regarding sa pag cut sa mix, roland nga sa palagay ko dahil most of the time sa full band setting, nag ooverplay ako and ramdam na ramdam sa mix dahil litaw talaga sa roland. which is parang okay na rin ako sa mx61 ngayon. yun lang, may shortage ng stock sa mga dealers dito sa pinas. abang abang na lang ako or for swap na lang if di ko na kaya mag antay. hehehe
Excelente demonstração!! Minha escolha foi o xps30 , apesar dos timbres de piano do mx61 serem superiores ( na minha opnião) ao xps, acredito que algumas edições os timbres de piano do xps 30 fiquem lindos. Escolhi o mesmo pois acredito que melhor atenda minhas necessidades.
both sound nice, but different. IMO, it is mostly the EQ of the entire sampling/playback process. I have an MX-88 as my main solo piano. i use default patch 1. But i also have a roland JV-2080 and a korg KromeEX which have many more piano patches which are better for other things than the darker, fuller yamaha patch. So, i like both of your keyboards and i would use both. nice playing btw.
i bring the yamaha for stage performance because of the clarity, and xps is very great for recording session because of the depth and the warmth of the tone
A sonoridade Yamaha é expressiva , aberta a sonoridade do Xps seria mais emoldurada à profundidade .Contudo fica a pergunta se não foi só uma questão de modulação da timbragem.

Mx deu um coro no xps30 aí... Mas os 2 são bons! O som de piano do Xps se sustenta por pouquíssimo tempo.. sem contar a ressonância, mx muito superior.
a realidade que vc vê quem realmente é o melhor é quando vc joga o som no P.A, em casa no home studio com os monitores o XPS é lindo, quando toca com a banda ele some vc espanca as teclas e nada de o som sair ! pode dar boost no master fazer o que quiser, é o famoso pastelão de vento!
Que coisa linda assistir esse video usando fones. Parabéns, você toca muito bem. Os pianos da Yamaha continuam melhores do que os da Roland na minha opinião. Parece que alem da roland sobrar um pouco de médios graves, a dinamica é mais convincente nos yamaha. Mas confesso que a Roland melhorou muito nesse quesito, eu tive um Juno Gi ha alguns anos, e considero os pianos no xps 30 bem superiores.

The Roland sounds less processed, more natural and more close mic'd. The Yamaha has more of the room sound so it sounds like it was mic'd slightly further away from the instrument.
O Yamaha soa melhor, mais aberto e nítido. To pensando em comprar um teclado desse nível. Seria interessante o MX mesmo ou da pra equalizar os timbres do XPS e deixar mais na cara como o MX?
Dá pra equalizar. Os timbres do XPS 30 são bons e a Roland estruturou o teclado para que os músicos deixassem os timbres conforme o gosto de cada um, se você souber mexer no teclado não haverá nenhuma dificuldade, entretanto se você não tiver esta habilidade você pode comprar ou baixar os timbres na internet.

I don't know, I liked many of the piano + ep + dx + etc type of aounda from the roland much better than the yamaha, but yamaha's piano sound was much better
Roland is always accepted from last so many decades in india,as in genreal most of keyboard of roland,, Indian tones are best ,in xps 30 is also great,, yamha has sx series but again pay extra for expantion card,which is totally free 10expantion card in xps 30, modx good syn but not much scope of indian tones,, motif is great but very costly..
Salamat sir! May times na may patch remain sya sir, may times na hindi. Sa pagkaka alala ko, if nasa same category, wala. Pag lumipat ng catogory (ex. Piano to Brass) parang dun napuputol yung sound. Di ko ma test sa ngayon kasi hiniram ko lang yung mx61. 😅
I'm afraid i cannot compare these with the midi controllers mentioned. The XPS-30 keybed feels good for synth solo, the keys are a bit undersized. As a piano oriented player, playing with dynamics is a challenge for me. MX61 keybed in my opinion has a better feel.
The pianos on the MX are better defined...but the piano eps and Rhodes on the XPS make up for it. The E-Grand on the Xps sonically is better to me and the brass take win for the XPS
Arranger keyboard ata yan sir. Go for it kung one man band ang application mo. Pero kung nasa banda ka kasi, sayang yung mga arranging features nyan. Mostly, synthesizers ang ginagamit ng mga nasa band setting. Sa price range ng SX600, makaka bili ka na ng Roland XPS-30, Korg Kross and other options, may sukli ka pa. hehe. Pero nasa sayo yan sir. Nood nood ka lang ng mga reviews. :)
Comprei um Rolando Juno Di faz uns anos, foi decepção total Troque o uso por um Yamaha DGX 230 vagabundo, e mesmo com timbre horrível ainda tem mais presença do que o Roland, que some completamente, ficando só os agudos e um pouco dos médios gritando no meio da música kkkkk O Roland sempre teve um som mais xoxo na região dos graves... Xoxo, capenga, manco, anêmico, frágil e inconsistente kkkkk
i recommend both depende sa need. XPS-30 - quick navigation, bigger screen, may LOWER and UPPER faders for SPLIT/LAYERS, malakas ang audio output na pwede rin i-boost up to +12 dB and may Master EQ din sya in case na malayo ang sound tech para magpa tweak ng volume/eq. MX61 - Clean Piano/EP sounds. mas gusto ko rin yung feel ng keybed. Kung basic Piano + String/Pad/Organ/Brass lang naman ang gagamitin, good ito.
Sir yung fantom 06 mas maganda po ba ang tunog nun kaysa dito sa mga featured keyboards natin. Nag hahanap din kasi ako ng ep sound na katulad ng dx7 pero hndi yamaha
di ko po ma define yung "mas maganda". personal preference po kasi ang basehan. Yung Fantom 06, may signature na "SuperNatural" sounds na. kung baga, yung flagship sounds ni Roland, parang nandun na rin. Sa EPs, kung Yamaha din ang pagkukumparahan, sa opinion ko lang, wala po katulad yung EP sounds ng Yamaha. Identity talaga ng brand yun sir. 😀

Thank you sa comment, sir! Para sa akin, mas maganda mag stick to 61 keys. Medyo mahirap pala i-navigate ang MX61 lalo na sa pag edit ng performance. Sa usapang ease of use, parang Roland XPS-10 ang equivalent ng MX61. Sa assessment ko, yung Yamaha counterparts ng XPS-30 and Korg KROSS2 are MOXF6 or MODX6, which sa price is sobrang laki ng difference. Mahal si Yamaha. Nagustuhan ko din ang sounds ng MX61 pero pinag iisipan ko maigi dahil medyo mahirap gamitin sa live use, lalo na kung variety of genre ang tugtugan. Pag nahiram ko ulit yung mx, try ko gawan ng tutorial. :)

@@scalt7 walang anuman sir. nung early years ko sa pag gig, Korg X50 ang gamit ko. di rin ako satisfied sa piano ng Korg, nataon na nakabili din ako ng Roland JV-1010. Matagal din na ganun ang setup ko. Hassle nga lang talaga dahil dagdag sa dadalhin at i set-up. Buti na lang nagka opportunity na makabili ng XPS-30 na okay na ang piano sounds. Pero nagbago na naman timpla ng tenga ko, na excite talaga ako sa mx61. hehe. Kung sakali, lilipat lang ako to mx61 para sa sound, sacrifice na lang ng konti sa mga features na wala.
