After so many years, I can't understand why car manufacturers, don't put hatchback boot lids on their sedans. Skoda is doing this successfully for so long. I feel that this should be standard for most cars! Anyway. Great video. And a very well thought out car.
skoda and a guarantee and a Volkswagen that costs less i drove the skoda scala of a colleague of my father 1.5 tsi dsg i reached 235 at speedometer flew on the a1 motorway in italy this superb obviously 200 hp had to make 250
Golf 8 2.0 TDI, Audi A3 35 TDI (2.0 TDI), Skoda Octavia 2.0 TDI, Mitsubishi Space Star and some other cars i dont remember right now which was low too but over all of them has the lowest consumption i ever tested :)
Big dislike for the consumption. You dont know how to test it, its not the point to reset it and then see the first number that shows up. Drive 10 km on every speed and then tell the consumption
woahh, whatta car. This car seems to be faster than the superb 2.0 tsi (190 hp) and the octavia 1.8 tsi (180 hp) right? If an octavia 2.0 tdi (150hp,320nm) is tuned to 200hp, and 450nm, will it be this quick?
Octavia tdi with 150hp(140) stock can be pushed to 185-190hp max with a decat but the exhaust gas temps get too high at that point, specially in our weather. There might be some videos on my account. This superb has a much bigger turbo, and the 7 speed dsg so it has more top end. Octavia only had a 6 speed dsg and got uncomfortably close to redline after 235kmh gps (after tune).
@@anmoldroid hey bro, I saw your videos, that TDI is a beast, actually my car runs on a TOT map, producing about 185 hp and close to 400 nm torque, and here the heavy superb has 2.0 tsi (190hp), which i comfortably outperformed w the tuned octavia last year. But this superb here, is a beast like you said top end rocks in this car, due to the bigger turbo. What do you think will win, a stock 1.8 tsi vs tuned 2.0 tdi octavia? I’m assuming you’re having mad fun w the tuned 2.0 TDI, it’s a gem, one and last of it’s kind♥️
@@blacksparrow1818 tuned tdi definitely because the dq250 puts the torque down much better and has shorter ratios. I've done plenty drags and track days and the tsi's never came close until the vrs arrived. Heres a clip of my car vs a stock 320i ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WiuA-7Hu7Yk.html
@@anmoldroid bro that was just crazy, the way your car pulled off the 320i was insane. Which remap is your car running on, and are there more drag videos of the TDI on your channel bro?
@@blacksparrow1818 It was a custom map done by an english tuner. He spent whole day on the car fine tuning it. I've forgotten the company now lol. I mostly have a lot of track day footage but its all private or unlisted now. Heres the octavia on full send - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eFKorpGNxL8.html
@@accelerator5524 I was talking about how speedometer is marked when consumption is showed. 0 40 60 80 100 140 180 etc. Usually if the speedometeres don't have equal intervals, they start with 20 intervals and after they increase the difference. This one jumps directly to 40, then goes 20 by 20 and jumps again to 40 by 40. It is so unequal.
Love this engine. Only DPF regen bothers me. Every second one runs after long trip just before my house. Zero notification before, zero possibility to manage (early start or small delay) it manually. Really stupid.
