I knew their regular Season series with Eagles was going to be the D-Backs we would see in Playoffs, or even if they made them of course, but once they handed Dallas his first loss of Season and Jimmy looked like his old self on mound as they went on to win series and even should have won all three of those games except Heath, not Jimmy got the one loss and it was from basically only one mistake that gave up a homer to ultimately lose that game so I was absolutely ready for this, I believed all year but I KNEW soon as that series was over... It Was Over For The Rest Of The League!!!! Oh and then they beat Baranoski next series too who was also undefeated at time I believe so that was nail in coffin to me before Playoffs even started

Same. Everyone gets to chirp a bit in fun but kid seemed to mouth a whole lot more than others. Gotta psych yourself into an elimination game but it looked like it was getting borderline rude. He went ice cold at the worst time of the season and he paid for it. Karma is a bitch

I'm sure Kyle's been sitting on the whole "montage of the year before the final out" business for YEARS. Man has had three straight World Series come down to the final at-bat, although I'm sure he's not complaining. Masterful job with 2022 as always, the field, editing, team branding, and talent all took a big step forward this year. The sky is the limit for MLW.

@@BenHernowitz but the league wasn't what I is now , at the time at least. Less teams, maybe 3 players per team, the league has stepped up tremendously in talent the last 3 years. It's really incredible what these guys are able to accomplish each year and I love every second of it.

Not to take away from Kyle, the man's a legend and beast on the mound, and the wildcats are always the team to beat. Was just pointing out my perspective that since the leagues expansion the talent is much much tougher and it's harder to stay winning and consistent. ( the Dbacks season, record shows this well. Barely broke even with the post season wins included and win the WS, dominantly so at that. )

Yeah. I used to hate Drew. But paying more attention to how he handles his team the last couple years changed my mind. And I think people sleep on Gus. He's not the best player in the league, but he's better than what he gets credit for. He pitched a decent game earlier this year. Much better than anyone expected. I think Drew is trying to develop him into a sleeper weapon.

When Knorp struck out sawyer behen in the bottom of the third I let out a loud yell. I love this kid. Looking forward to next season already. I will root against behen vehemently as long as he has a spot in this league. There’s a difference between the way Knorp makes noise and behen makes noise. Behen is a fight starter, Knorp is a motivator

Couldn’t have said it any better. There’s a respect that everyone that watches and plays in the league has for Jimmy. Behen hasn’t earned that, and coming into his rookie season playing with his “energy” I don’t know if he ever will. Seems to rub all opposing players the wrong way, and seems very unlikable to me. He’s talented, but I enjoyed watching him get humbled greatly.

I wouldn't be so hard on Behen. Considering he was just getting his first taste of success late this season, and he knew they needed to get fired up being down 2-0, and Kyle had been continuously validating his intensity, he got a little carried away. I think the veterans properly put him in check here and I think he'll get the message.

Despite not knowing how to feel about a team with a losing regular season record winning the World Series, you can't take anything away from Jimmy Knorp's performance this post season. The most unpredictable season I've seen, beautiful montage at the end, can't believe it's already over. Can't wait for next year.

Yeah that is a little bit of a sour element of this. Regular season is apparently basically meaningless. But still, you basically knew he was going to hit a home run several times this series when he got up. And you knew he was going to shut the opposing team down when he was pitching.

Well it’s just like MLB in a way. That’s just how the cards were played out this year. Did the ‘06 cardinals deserve to win the World Series going 83-78? No but they did it. Did the ‘22 Phillies deserve to be in the WS this year winning 87 games? No but they did it. That’s what makes baseball special is any team can win on any day

What a season for the D-Backs. These are my two favorite teams, so I’m happy for these guys who battled back after a rough start and broke even.

I became a fan of MLW during this season. Jimmy Knorp became my favorite player instantly, with the whole Diamondback squad becoming my favorite team. I went back and watched the D-backs win last season’s World Series retrospectively, and I’m so glad I got to watch my favorite team win it in real time.

WOW. WOW. WOW. I have never seen such a dominant team. Jimmy Knorp is the GOAT. Diamondbacks have a chance to Three-Peat if they play their cards right. What a season. How about Schema and Heath stepping up in the clutch...man, what a TEAM!

I love the kid, (Behen) he’s had a great year, but when you’re down in the World Series 2-0 you just don’t flex after every strikeout thinking and pretending your “all that.” Maybe this is a lesson for Behen that you don’t flex on the big dogs, ESPECIALLY JIMMY FRICKEN KNORP!

Man this game was insane! I literally was in shock at a bunch of clutch plays. They opened up the floodgates and ripped their hearts out in 6th, but man what a game before hand , Jimmy Knorp is a beast!! Felt he was clutch every single time they needed him, amazing to watch.

Wow. What a Series. This was the most intense 3 - 0 sweep ive ever seen. It felt like a 7 game battle. A couple of plays go the other way and its a totally different series. Props to the Cobras for leaving their hearts on the field. It just wasnt meant to be, for them. When you run into a team on a hot streak, sometimes there is nothing you can do. As for the D'Backs. Possibly the teamiest team ive ever seen. Its a perfectly constructed squad with Jimmy Knorp leading the way. They were undeniable in the post season. It was a blast watching them turn a rough start to a World Series victory. I honestly didnt think they could make that huge a turn around....it takes a special kind of team to raise your play...as a team...so high...so completely. Congratulations Diamondbacks! This was my first year watching MLW, and im hooked. I cant wait until next year. The videos are elite tier entertainment. The production is top notch and every detail is superior. The amazing montages & emotional moments created through excellent editing & thoughtful story telling, cannot be credited enough. They have made me feel like i know these players, and am connected to the league in a way, that the big boys in the MLB could learn from. If i was working for a major professional sports league, id be knocking on your door. So very well done. Bravo. Have a safe & healthy off season. A happy holidays and God bless. Cheers!
