I replaced the original pick up with an EMG,(passive) Geezer "P" bass pick up and replaced the strings w/ D'addario Chromes,(flats)......it's my back up bass on gigs now. Sounds great.
Just so you know, NOT made for kids. Plays as well or better then most mini's. I play this bass at 69 and it works well with my hands slowly losing flexibility.
Cant play full body instruments anymore After a squier strat hard tail ( thin body and neck. Super Light weight!!). Today, Mini is better for me!!! Squier strat and epiphone les paul power player. Hours and hours standing up without break my back!!!!
My 10 year old has his eye on a Fiesta Red one for his first bass I tested it in the store and it sounded good to me just needed a set up Christmas is coming he may get his wish
What is your amp setup for this video? I really need a very light setup since I am old and tired. Also, you played How Many More Times briefly. Wasn't that the theme song for a Super Bowl in 1970 ?
Think that bridge is kinda bad ... as it seems the screws are moving themselves and then everything gets out of intonation.Sent three back. But I love to hold it and watch it. Msxbe a bass to put on the wall. Also some side-noises that irritated me.
