The BT50 build finally gets underway and we kick things off with the basics, bullbar, Lightforce lights, MSA mirrors and seat covers, a winch and a few other bits of kit to get this thing ready for it's future of touring Australia!

Looking good. I have the xtr 4x4 and just had my summit bullbar and uhf fitted. Getting spotties and a winch sorted for my trip up to the cape

Bar looks good mate, some work in shaping it to the grill! What do you get out of the EDS? It's not something I'm familiar with. There's no spoken audio at the 1:28 mark though...

Yeh it fits the car nicely and look apart of not apart from! Its basically an OBD gauge, so will read everything that is going on with the car through its computer. Still playing around with it but getting some extra stats on fuel consumption and voltage as well as a few other bits. Cheap mod and very handy! I checked the video and I still have audio, when Nat is speaking do you mean?

@@OUTANDBACKOFFROAD yeah I had audio issues when watching on my PC, couldn’t hear Nat at all for that part, interestingly it works fine on my phone when I just checked it 🤔

Very nice - where did you get the rear sensor relocation brackets from? Do they come with the XR bar?

Hey mate, you have to purchase them separately. Hayman Reese do make them to suit though. Unfortunately very expensive for what they are as well

Rear bar sensors? What did you guys do with the rear bar sensors and how did you mount them in a different spot under the tray?

We just had to relocate the rear sonar with mounts made by Hayman Reese. Annoyingly they aren’t included with the towbar and are quite expensive. Will be doing a full episode on the tray fit out in the coming weeks so will go over the towbar in more detail then.
