"Nothing comes easy in life", we hear that being said everyday of our lives. Our country hasn't really accepted hip pop as a culture but there are artists that want to live their dreams.
Rappers of our era are facing difficulties not being accepted and not getting the respect that they deserve.The Bajo Mega Cypher will be the first project to showcase our passion and love for the game.
Firstly, this Cypher is not a love story, not a praise for society, not a vibe, not a past story, not anything that people think what rap is and will be, it is Art. Art that has us hooked to find for new beats beyond our imagination, Art that will enable us to speak the truth and Art that will Inspire.
Society believes, this genre of music will eradicate our Bhutanese tradition, why is that they think it will lead to violence and crime?
There will be haters and there will be lack of support. It's going to be a long journey but when we stand on top, we will make sure to let them know that we are not the bad guys. This very reason that holds us back, this challenge that society brings forth will be the very reason to drive us forward.
The dream of being someone, the dream of standing on stage and singing our hearts out, the dream of you and me, these dreams are our purpose in life. Although our future is dull, our enthusiasm and our energy will never fade. Even if we hit rock bottom we will never ever give up. We are on the verge of doing better things, maybe it won't be the same for society but atleast for ourselves. The root of our passion is the same but our dreams may differ, please keep this in mind.
Let's live for ourselves, let's have pride that we were born in Bhutan, let's strive as one, strive to be the Man or Woman who we have always wanted to be.
