All these years(decades) and Foosball tour still hasn't got proper big name sponsorship. Chess, Pool, Snooker, Darts, Bowling all have bigger payouts and better sponsors. ..Foosball tables are small, action happens very fast, and it is too difficult to capture to be properly televised. I have to slow the youtube video down to 1/2 speed to see what's going on.
@@do_notknow_much Foosball just isn't a great sport to watch. Well, the pro scene isn't. It becomes almost robot-like at the highest levels, which isn't really that thrilling anymore. There are hundreds of games where you only see 5-3 pass into snake shot and that's it. At that point, the defense is just probability manipulation.
I appreciate the different view, but it's just too weird watching a Championship final without hearing Jim Stevens commentary. I will hold out for that video, or go watch it if its already out there.
@@FoosballSportsNetwork They lost the Championship singles final footage???!!! You're kidding. Footage of a legend and an up and coming legend, no less. Wow. That is insane. I don't know how that happened, but someone probably got an ass chewing. I guess that explains a few things though. Thx for the info.
Yeah, it is not included in this edit, but he tried to protest the last point after it scored, but reviewing it I see nothing. The ball did come to a stop but Brandon put it in motion with his second man, and the ball was touched by the first man and continuously in motion until the goal scored, and I believe it only came off the wall once, there was nothing to protest that I could see.
The Inside Foos people either lost or did not have recording of this final, this came from video recorded from the guy they thanked/acknowledged at the beginning of the video. That's why the resolution isn't the greatest and the recording is a bit shaky, because it is from a handheld phone video. The thing I like is that the ref's timer app is shown in a lot of the video so you can see how that works and what the time limits are if you did not already know.
