It's nice seeing more hybrid vehicles coming out. Also, always excited to watch your videos :) even just the videos imparting car knowledge! They're helpful and fun to watch! I hope Caco, Jack, and the rest of the team are doing well. Stay safe, everyone!
Highlights: -9 speaker JBL Sound system (over the pre-facelift 6 speaker unit) -Toyota Dynamic Force A25 engine (which is a no-brainer upgrade over the 2AR-FE) -More safety kit (especially Blind Spot Monitoring which is helpful in the Philippine market) Definitely an upgrade over the pre-facelift 2.5 V model variant for sure
we do have RAV4 Hybrid in Sydney, the fuel economy is really good in city driving but not in long highway drive because the battery is being charge thru brake and downhill, and if battery is not being charge thru that it will charge thru the engine thus consuming more petrol. Hybrids are very fast as well, because it uses the electric motor when starting to accelerate then it shifts into engine.
I really like the part about the "Launch.". I was able to ride in an older version of the Camry. It felt like riding in a Mercedes. very smooth. Nice video Caco!!
so happy that they finally used the proper infotainment system meant for the Camry which is also used in US models instead of the crappy ass screen that is also used in the vios, rush, etc.
PH Govt too busy with the up coming election..the country will be too late with electrification, perhaps it will happen in the next 20-30 yrs unlike with other “wealthy” nation who are very aggressive in EV some of them have a 10 year plan to eliminate gas powered vehicles.
Impromptu/ on the spot yung review niya. Walang script. But still delivered it with grace. Parang rapper sa mga rap battle. Also, does anybody know where this was filmed?
That road and grassy field looks familiar. Is that Filinvest City? The Palms area? I used to run there a lot. I can see the condos and Parque Espania in the distance.
Sir i'd like to ask you as to when will you be reviewing the toyota land cruiser 300 series. Your indeed the only right car reviewer here in the philippines. Looking forward for my request to be your next featured car review. More power to your channel.
Nice review as usual Caco. Although I noticed you looked a bit tired in this vid and lack the energy and enthusiasm that you have in your other videos 😁
Love my 05 Camry but to hell with any company who wants me to sign up for and pay extra for a service to use my remote start after an introductory period. Looks like I’m going back to Honda
I love the elegant simple cleancut executive look ala Lexus. A break from the usual Japanese anime/transformer "wannabe muscle car" design trend. It's gotten so bad in the last two decades that for me, Korean car design look way more elegant. Maybe because most of their designer worked for Audi and BMW.
Most of the camry are low profile with high power so it can be a bulletproof low key car. The question is, can this car/model be bulletproofed/ armoured?
@@mafaka4456 early 2000 model BMW 5 series has about the same horsepower and its one of the most common bulletproofed daily drivers in the middle east when I was there. Our boss drove one. Do realize its a 4 door executive saloon, not a performance coupe.
Fuel consumption that toyota says is achievable, i have a 2019 ioniq and in city or mix traffic i average about 19 to 21, thats without sudden overtake or heavy breaking.
Unlike the Netflix Cowboy Bebop adaptation, this is gonna be good. At least Yoko Kanno, the music composer, came back. Made a guitar cover video for the ending theme, The Real Folk Blues.
Nope it is available on USA also with 13 trims to choose from LE, LE Hybrid, SE, SE Hybrid, SE Nightshade, SE Hybrid Nightshade, XLE, XLE Hybrid, XSE, XSE Hybrid, TRD, XLE V6 And XSE V6 And i believe in the philippines it only comes Hybrid only nothing more
beware kayo sa hybrid, matipid sa gas sa simula but after 8-10 years you have to replace the battery which cost 6-8k us dollars. Assuming mas mahal satin so 500k expense for something that old to keep it running, think again. You also paid premium upfront for the hybrid. Sa 10 years mong ikeep yung sasakyan worth ba ang 700k extra ng hybrid para lang makasave ng gas
@@reymoneytalks974 Toyota Australia covers hybrid HV battery 8 years for Toyota bought before 1 January 2019 and 10 years if bought after January 1 2019.
sa philippines walang incentive at least sa us may cash back pag nagfile ka ng tax, ang isa pa sa philippines dahil super rare ng hybrid, mas konti technician, mas maiksi warranty dito sa philippines, 5 years lang warranty sa corolla hybrid
Maybe you actually have to test drive the hybrid before the ultimate judgement is made. Remember, gas engines take more time to rev to full power and torque, where as a electric motor provides full torque immediately.
@@Lex-rt7vd You actually have a point if we're talking about a full EV like let's say a Tesla. But im really having apprehensions about this and it can be seen in the acceleration test that Caco made. Those numbers aren't enough for a heavy midsize sedan like these. But given that analogy, i still agree with you for a proper test drive on my part.
I do wish we had the XSE V6 but it wouldn't make sense since historically Camrys we're targeted for wealthy folks who wanted something "luxurious" without the badge
definitely the Camry 2.5V PHEV, the RAV4 doesn't feel that "luxurious" like our 2017 520i M sport. i do like the RAV4 PHEV that i test drove months ago, definitely a very nice car to have but i'd still take the 2.5 PHEV Camry :DD
@@knav5216 maybe you don't appreciate luxury sedans because you're a fan of european luxury snacks please do have some respect for the to japanese luxury sedans namely the toyota camry and the honda accord
@@dragonx_28 🤣 toyota and honda aren't even luxury brands. Not hattin' here, I have vehicles from both brands. But they're really not luxury brands. That's why they have lexus and acura (the first Japanese luxury car company). Camry is a nice sedan, comfy. But it's really not a luxury sedan.
@@knav5216 yes both manufacturers are not considered luxury brands but like i have said the toyota camry and honda accord are both considered as a luxury sedan but not in the same attributes of american and european luxury sedan because both cars can have their own luxury amenities but in the price of a mid-sized sedan so let me ask you what is your definition of that class of vehicle
@@dragonx_28 whoever said they're considered luxury cars? Haha. Maybe for the squats. 🤣 If you're a student, you drive a civic, corolla, sentra, etc2x. Once you get your 1st job, you now drive an accord, camry, etc2x. It's a cheap car for cryin' out loud. 🤣
