2022 Toyota Fortuner GR-S Walk Around -The most expensive PPV but is it the best?

I remember that time when TMP used to offer the TRD Sportivo (which this GR-S grade replaced and was based on the pre-facelift model) and that time that particular variant was based on the G model which lacked LED headlamps, chrome door handles, leather seats, etc. And the real reason why the GR-S model only has one color option and also doesn't have the Emotional Red color option which the Thai-market gets is that the Fortuner GR-S is sourced from Indonesia (notice the layout and position of the warning lamps and the MID screen in the gauges in the Indonesian-made model compared to the Thai-made model). Overall, IMO this Fortuner variant should have gained the 224PS power bump (up from the 204PS in the non-GR-S Fortuners) just like in the Hilux GR in the South African market. Compared to ltd, I must say GR-S is at a different level. This car's look is somewhat striking yet more elegant than the former. btw, I owned one. I must say, and I mean it, you will never feel disappointed in buying this car.

I wish they offered livelier colour options like emotional red and competition blue.

All for this? I'd rather go for the Montero Sport GT 4x4 or Black Series. Toyota always makes Pricey Vehicles with cheap materials or cheaper features, Just because they say they are Toyota. Of course they paid for their Fame unlike those Silent players but really worth their prices. They only became the top selling brand because of Taxi's and Uber. They can't even make their own engines for their Luxury Sports car. It's either Subaru or BWW engines. Plus the real and the worst SUA that made them pay $1.2B.
