I like toys but could never imagine going into debt for a vehicle. Leverage on a depreciating item just doesn’t make financial sense.

LLOD’s money comes from 15 years as a web developer and marketing guy for his brothers company, he openly talks about it. Compound that with the holster company that did well before others became mainstream, smart investments and brand ambassador partnership money. Just a normal dude that worked hard and made smart real estate buys.

I was looking for a campershell and ended up with a Diamondback for my Tundra. That way I can get my gear out of the cab so more room for the kids, but keep it dry and safe. It's also helpful hauling trash to the dump (no trash service out in the sticks where I live) without worrying about trash blowing out the back onto the highway.

Mike, these videos are great. This is the kind of stuff that would be awesome to see of different vehicles. Mike Hernandez' vids, this one, and the other Fieldcraft walk-arounds are so beneficial to all of us with daily drivers making considerations as well as our overland vehicles hanging out in the garage.

I still love my 2018 2500 diesel. Gets me and family around the rockies. Elk hunting camping etc. Ranch hand bumpers, mickey tompson tiers and a 60 gallon toolbox tank. Plus the extras

Thank you. I enjoyed the video. I have a 2000 Tundra myself that I would love to beef up. As an E4 working for Uncle Sam in this economy money is tight and compatible affordable resources for my rig are tough to source.

First gen off-road. The gen 1 Tundra/Sequoia has come a long way as far as aftermarket is concerned. Most major manufacturers make decent lifts for them on the cheap these days.

Have you driven a 22+ Tundra on 37s? Absolutely doesn't need to be regeared. Tacomas, Jeeps, 4runners, etc - absolutely. But what do I know, I've just had maybe a half dozen vehicles that I've regeared.

Aussie 4x4 off-roader here. Have you got diff lockers with those tundras? Our landcruisers come with them from factory.

Nope. We don’t get any of the off road love from Toyota you guys do. No diesels, either. We haven’t had factory lockers since the 80 series Land Cruiser in the 1990’s.
