Some or all of that rattling is coming from the connectors under the TCU. They rattle inside of the top tube. Remove the TCU and wrap the connectors in foam or cloth to stop them from annoying you. I did that to my Creo and Levo Expert and they are 100% quiet now. All you need is a small torx screwdriver (T5 I think).
Did you sell the Rise? I’d love to see a comparison video between the two. (E.g times up Mathis (or cooks to the flag ) times down (pick your favorite gnar trail) and ride impressions
No, this is my Brothers bike. He doesn’t ride on Weekends so I can grab it whenever I want so I had it for a couple weeks. Rise is more engaging and agile. Very different experience.
HEY I JUST SEEN YOUR GOOD DEMO ON THE BIKE WHICH WAS GREAT . QUESTION HOW IS THE SEATING STANCE LIKE WHEN YOUR RIDING IS YOUR BACK BEND OVER TO THE HANDLE BAR COMFORTABLE?
Hi mike, very nice bike you have there! do you think 5'8 riders will still enjoy riding this bike on size S4? or do you see your self riding s4 instead of s3? im planning on getting levo soon and im thinking if i should go s3 or s4. Currently i am riding Rise size L and i have no complaint with size L Rise. Im same height and inseam like yours. Thanks
Bigger bike is more stable. I’d probably get an S4 since I don’t do anything too fancy in the air when I ride. Just normal jumps and drops with very little style. Stability and therefore safety is the most important
@@regularMattMatt S3 was not unstable. It was quite stable. It’s just that I have long arms and legs so a S4 would suit me better while even providing more stability
Great bike. What's that knocking noise? Is it from the motor? I read some people have a significant knocking noise similar to what I hear, from the 38/36 with the grip 2 damper and looks like damper is is cause in those cases. My ebike has a similar knocking noise but I assumed is from the bosch motor not the 38 grip 2 :)) very hard to isolate anyway when riding. The new 38 and 36 with grip 2 damper both have some knocking noises when pressing the fork fast, even a 2019 36 upgraded with grip 2 damper has that small noise. Thx
I notice it also. I think it’s chain slap cause I can feel it through the rear of the bike and through my feet. The protection dampens it a bit but it’s still there. Still though it is pretty quiet overall
@@mtbmike9866 interesting. I honestly don't think is the chain, but you know better what you hear on the trail :) let us know here if you identify the sound. Anyway love your projects and videos, very informative, keep on doing it :D I found them searching for mullet bikes as I recently converted my Scott Ransom to mullet and put 180 mm fork instead of 170.I was afraid of not risking to break the frame. Did mullet the Scott Genius of my girlfriend and wanted to put also there 160 mm fork instead of stock 150. As we will use them only for bike parks do you see any major risk /downside? I did not try on our Mondraker crafty ebikes, maybe I will as we have the wheels from the regular bikes. Thx
@@uskypg I have upforked nearly every bike I’ve owned. Ebike headtube are pretty large and as strong if not stronger than DH bikes so no worries. Try to find broken Ebike head tubes online, it is super rare
I’m Coming from a Coil shock also so Air should feel more progressive. Leverage curve goes from 3.1 to 2.65 on the previous Gen Levo. It’s likely similar on this bike which explains why it feels like it soaks up the hits so well but not quite pop. By Pop I mean a leverage curve that is more sloped in the mid stroke.
Hello, I see that you have tried many bicycles, what do you think of the 2022 turbo levo bought with the norco for descents with sharp curves and in terms of safety and fun in curves with other bicycles? is it a good enduro bike? I have ordered a 2022 in size s3 for 1.77 cm, okay?
It’s a very capable Enduro bike. Although I would suggest upping the fork to 170mm. 10mm doesn’t sound like very much it it really does change the way the bike feels and changes it from an all mountain bike to an Enduro bike
Cool vid. I have a Rail 7 and was thinking of someday upgrading to a Levo but I'm cool with what I have for now. The Rail has been a beast but I'd also like a lighter e-bike like an Orbea Rise.
@@Scaredysquirrelmtb Many Rises we’re shipped accidentally with the normal EP8 software installed. Orbea is asking you to take it to the dealer to program it back to 60Nm max. That said, you can program it yourself for about $36 using STunlocker but that would void your warranty
How do you compare it to the YT Decoy MX? In terms of motor and battery range and overall value of the bike? I have Core 4 MX ready to be shipped but I am having second thoughts. I’m thinking of getting the Levo Expert instead. Thank you.
All 3rd Gen Levos are considered 2022. Launched Summer of 2021. 2nd Gen Levos we’re called 2019 launched in Fall of 2018. Stores all over soCal have these in stock
