Salaam brother - you have done a massive service for a lot of people considering this trip. Me and my friends have been talking about this trip for years, and seeing your video puts us and alot of peoples mind at rest that it’s do-able. Jazakallah Khair for being so forthcoming with all the details.
Walaykum salaam, no problem brother , I'm just doing my bit to help alot of brothers who are planning to make this trip. Thank-you for the nice words, and if you haven't already please subscribe
Brothers only??? 😂😂 I was thinking of doing this but I'm a woman... do you reckon it's doable by a woman? Genuine question. Any challenges you anticipate for us? Single mum 2 kids.
@@elmarmpofu9414 Hi , yes it will be doable ... I can't see any reason why . Will it be only you and kids ... a long way to go bear this in mind . Very limited to what can be said nowadays , but Iran might be a issue with their strict rules on woman , but along as you follow
Salam brother I'm subscribed. Enjoyed all the videos. Can I just ask the £10k security deposit we pay do you get all of that back when you return carnet?
@@mohammedqasim3334 Walaykum salaam, yes when you get back , let them know you are sending the carnet back and they will refund you once they receive and check it all

Salamoalikum brother thanks for the information, just cost of insurance for Iran and Turkey will really help me. I am planning to go in October inshalah
Walaykum salaam, Iran is just like Pakistan so no insurance and Turkey you get at there border as they make you and its about £70- 80 unless you got a greencard and it shows that your insured in Turkey
@@Saif00736 that is not impossible but it costs a lot and right now 3 Indians are on their way to India, they shiped from Halifax to Liverpool UK few weeks back. They are on RU-vid.
@takeoffwithzafar I called UK, the people who handle carnet and they said they are not providing carnet for Pakistan anymore as there are a lot of unresolved cases.... typical Pakistani things. I then called US and tried if they can provide me carnet for Pakistan but they too said the same thing that they are not providing it anymore for Pakistan.
i will see your videos many times so i dont miss anything, its the most useful video available regarding Pakistan road trip. thanks for doing this, it helped a lot@@shhaff
@@shhaff salaam bro if I’m a dual citizen what’s the script do I have to give up my citizenship or can I just get a visa and not declare my dual nationality?
@@nikashsultan933 walaykum salaam brother, yes everyone is getting a visa and not using their card.. just don't use it or mention it simple . That's what everyone is doing
It's Amazing & very Inspiring.... I am very much interested to meet you as I am also planning to go to India by road. Your words and experience so matters for me. I live in Slough and don't mind to meet you in the Bradford when you are free anytime. Thanks
Salam brother , very helpful video. Just one question, how much fuel cost all the way to pakistan and was it cheaper fuel in iran and was that fuel compatible with european vihicles ?
Walaykum salaam, all depends on the car you take for instant would be more fuel if you take a high performance but on average you looking at about £1500 - £2000 . Fuel is cheaper in Iran but the fuel is absolutely bad.. bear that in mind and keep service parts with you
Slam brother nice to watch this video I am ready to go to Pakistan in March 2023 next year, inshallha I would like to get in touch with you,or meet up I am only 100 miles away ,north thanks for the info ,akhtar,
Masha'Allah Bro, very well presented full of information. I am from Manchester and thinking of going to Pakistan with my family (6 people) in next December 2023. Do you think is it a good idea going in this season. I have X5 (2016 model), is it good for the trip and how much would be the security deposit by Carnet for this car? I subscribed you as well for the future videos, please keep loading up here. Thanks in advance for your kind reply.
I am currently in Pakistan now and the weather is mixed but mostly cold , I know in Europe its cold at this time . Best time to come is March/April or if you can handle the heat then June/July/August , in this season its hot in every country . The car will be good as the road condition only differ in Iran and Pakistan. There would be a carnet charge of approx 15- 20k but they do give you 2 options where they keep some money and you have to pay less .
Salaam brother, myself & brother (Glasgow) along with our 2 hard working now retired uncles (south wales) are looking to set of end of aug(24) VW LWB crafter panel converted to a 4 berth with solar, shower, beds, toilet etc etc, I know you recommended a 4x4 instead, but vans 90% converted now Your videos have greatly helped on recommendations & tips, giving us a lot of confidence in our final preparations! Are you able to provide me with your contact for our Iranian visas please? I have been talking to a couple of Iranian travel agency in London, but I’m a bit uncertain with them as the two are not saying the same! Look forward to hearing from you brother jazakallah khair
Brov thanks a lot for the info.just a quick question is there any specific fee for cpd.and if it is than how much is that?you said about 75% of some kind of fee.as I didn’t get that.what is that for.and if I will take the vehicle and leave it there than what’s the procedure?
No worries and sorry for the late reply. Fee will depend on your vehicle value. Carnet is a temporary import where you must take the vehicle out also . There is no procedure to leave it there
Hi guys your trip sounds amazing. im planning on driving to india later this year. can you tell me which agent you used for the iranian visa please. dav
I wanted to ask you was in turkey there is 2 routes to take on is the top way straight to Iran and 2nd one is go down towards Adana ,, which way did you go as am going next month taking Toyota Land Cruiser ,, one more question is there enough petrol stations as mine is a v8 petrol
Brother Salam, Thank you so much for your detailed video. I am really excited and interested about this trip. I am Australian Citizen and especially coming to UK for this adventure. Is their any way i can contact you? I have questions about vehicle especially. As I don’t have personal vehicle in UK. I have read about it. We can hire it with VE103 certificate. Then I think we need to apply for carnet. But what is your thoughts on it?
Walaykum salaam, apologies for the delayed reply, The vehicle has to be on your name and not hired as you need to show proof of ownership of the vehicle like the logbook . When hiring this will be on the hire companies name . So this will not work
Hi @shhaff a quick question mate. Do you have to pay customs for your car even if you’ve a carnet? How old does your car have to be ? Can I take my car just on carnet because I hold dual nationality British & Pakistani passport? Can you please advise me. Your content is great 👍 keep travelling & travel safe.
@@vakaschaudhry2687 Hi brother , you will go on British passport and cannot declare the overseas/nadra card.. so will need a visa. You do not pay any customs as this is customs free document .. you leave a deposit in the UK . Car can be any age.. I'm trying my best to help anyone who wants to make this trip
Bro can u please tell me how much deposit that warranty deposit they gonna ask for an g wagon my g wagon cost around 100k please lemme know soon as you can please
salam bro ..Also planning for same trip to Pak by road . just one question please How to get the cheaper Carnet for 2015 model Peugeot 5008 ? Thnakyou bro .
Walaykum salaam, what you need to do on applying is just devalue your vehicle and tell the carnet company you got it cheap . They will still go on market value but you can knock them down on price by giving them adds off vehicle for sale which are cheap (best way is give them high mileage vehicles adds)
@@shhaff thanks for your videos and great information which is in English unlike other people that’s talks Urdu which I don’t understand lol Just to ask,if I knock down the value of the car and say it’s cheaper etc and give them my car mileage higher than it’s current, will they check that? Also is there any other way like putting a guarantor with their house or shop etc instead of money to be given? Thanks
You will need to get a full police report and provide images , you will need to get a report on disposal also. Only then you will get your deposit back
Walaykum salaam , your carnet is valid for 1 year, but you will have to get your vehicle out or extended after 3 months. So you will have plenty off time . If you leave for that long then the customs will apply for the money held by the carnet company and your vehicle will become illegal
Salam brother it was a pleasure to watch the videos of your trip to pakistan, I would like to ask did you buy international sims for your mobile?? How did you stay connected.?? As we are planning a trip and would like to know how to keep our mobiles connected to internet How did you overcome this obstacle
Walaykum salaam, sorry for the late reply .. Yes purchase Turkey and Iran sims once your in. Your UK sim have European open and this will cover the rest
Walaykum Salaam, yes the passengers can go on there Pakistani passports/nadra/overseas card. Just the person whos name the vehicle and the carnet is on has to go on a Visa . Make sure you do not show your overseas card if you have one when asked for at passport control, otherwise your vehicle will be kept at the border .
Hiya mate see at the bit where you said car valuation and they will take a deposit of £10,000 I don’t understand what u meant about that could u clarify pls and is that deposit refunded back once u bring the car back within 3 months
They will take whatever your car is worth as a deposit , they will give you a high value option where everything is paid back to you on return or they will give you a cheaper option where they keep some also
Salam bro. How much do you think it costs in total taking into consideration everything to Pakistan by car? And can you take a standard car, like an Astra 2016 for example.
Walaykum salaam , with hotels would cost about £2,000 or less , you would need to pay the carnet and would need to get a price off them . You can take any vehicle ad your going on carnet de passage which is a temporary admission
Salam brother I no it’s a different subject I would like to drive to Bangladesh but I don’t no where to start hope you can provide me you knowledge in sha Allah
Aslam o Alikam Brother, I wanted to ask you 1 think that if someone traveling with british passport & Pak Overseas ID card, it will be fine or have to get pak visa on british passport? Jazakallah
Walaykum salaam, you cannot travel to Pakistan with your overseas card, you will be declined entry with your vehicle. You can only have the visa . The carnet de passage is strictly for tourist and not for any national of the country you are travelling to . They will ask you this when you are applying for it. If you say you have a overseas card they will not issue the carnet.
Walaykum salaam, doesn't matter how you get it , but has to be visa ... and not on Pakistani passport either . You will need carnet also and they require visa also
AoA brother is there anyway to contact you as i am planning a trip of my own in the coming year 23 and would appreciate any help advice that you may have.
thank you so much. i am moving back to pakistan permanently end of 2025 and want to travel by road with my husband who has a pakistani passport. I know he will need visas for all countries, plus I have pets and i know they will need pet passports. this is the main reason i want to travel by road. I know rules will be somewhat different for a permanent move. where do you collect your information from? do you contact pakistani embassy? @@shhaff
@@asmatahir9950 I was in contact with a few people who had done this trip years ago .. would be best for you to contact regarding pets etc... are you planning to keep the car in Pakistan also?
Salaam brother. Hope you and family are well. Please could I have the number for the agent in order to get a visa for Iran. Also did you apply for the carnetnet yourself?
Can take up to 12 days all depends on drive time really, and how many stops in hotels etc.... roughly be prepared to spend up to £1500- 2000 this will cover fuel and a few hotels.
@@shhaff sorry brother for not replying back I have watched your return journey from Pakistan to UK. Excellent. We are planning to go in 2024 is there any chance we can meet up. iam from Birmingham I will travel down with my mates when you are free. Let me know brother.
Slam brother nice video on the information going to Pakistan 🇵🇰 by road I just wondering that what is the best navigation device to use Tomtom, Garmin and Google Maps for the navigation to travel to pakistan 🇵🇰 by road?
Walaykum salaam, sorry for the delay , I used my mobile phone google maps which was great , you will have issues in countries like Serbia, Turkey , Iran and Pakistan which I suggest you get a sim card for otherwise the roaming charges are stupidly priced
Why take the risk on applying for visa on arrival ? What if your declined or they send you back . Best to plan and have these things all ready before you make your trip
You can only keep for 3 months now , you could apply for extension of up to another 3 months . But because alot off people have abused this system they no longer let you do this .
Salaam brother Shaf. I am a British citizen with nadra card. I want to take my BMW m3 to Pakistan and keep it there as I am moving to Pakistan for a coupled of years.
