I'm in AZ, I have a 5x9 XTR 2021. Lived in TN, Ordered mine and picked it up in Nashville TN then moved to AZ. Really like mine. If I had more money I would have gotten more on mine.
Rented one of these earlier this year. It was great but we learned that having the water near the electrical is kind of a challenge when the hose starts leaking. Wish the mfg had a better solution for that.
Very nice. A couple of thoughts: 1) The hot water heater is mounted to the door of the pelican exterior case. It's clearly too much weight on the door as is evident by the drop when unlatched. This will be a constant annoyance for the customer who has to lift upward on the door to simply get the seal realigned. Or, worst case is the seal is damaged by repeated closure of a misaligned gasket. Reverse the placement of the shower head with the water heater should fix that issue. 2) The entry door placements are too far toward the bed end of the camper. There's room to move it about a foot away from the bed end creating a place to step into the camper without traversing the bedding/sofa. 3) Permanent sinks are such a waste of precious counter real estate. Ditch the sink altogether and customers have plenty of better collapsable options. 4) Access pass through doorways should never open to reveal a shelf in the way. Move the doors or the shelves. Or, resize the pass throughs. 5) The rear power access panel cover appeared to be mounted crooked. But, that could have been the camera angle? Those are minor nitpickings on a really superb product.
Hi Steve, I believe we spoken before. It’s Ben in Petaluma. We have different trim levels now. The Overlander built out like this would be around 18k. The fully built out Commander, which comes with more options than the trailer in this video is around $24k. We have a few Overlanders in stock and 1 Commander. Let me know if you’re interested 👍🏼.
New to your channel. I am in the process of binge watching what you offer. I am assuming that you are a dealer and not the manufacturer; is that a correct assumption? I am in the market for something like this but not quite sure how much I want to spend and just how elaborate I want to get. I love that they are off road capable but honestly I am not going to go terribly far off road with the camper... But I do think it is better to have the option than to need it and not have it. Anyway, I would like a bit more information on this. I am in southern Cali but for the right price I would be willing to make a trip to Sonoma. Thanks, Pat
Hi Pat - Welcome to the channel! I am the CA sales representative for the company. I meet with clients, walk through my demo trailer and put together custom trailer builds. I can email over some information if you would like? We can also hop on a call and discuss further. If you would like to send me an email, you can reach me at benk.vtw@gmail.com
@@4x4teardrops Hi Ben, I'm looking at your website and the closest dealer to me would be Sean Lee, again according to the website. I'll email you and include him as he might be closer for me to go take a look. I'm about a two-hour drive from Lake Forest but it would probably take me 8 to get to Petaluma. Look for that email soon. Thanks, Pat
I didn’t see an option on the website for “commander kitchen “ I was only able to select what I wanted. Didn’t seem to come out around 18k previously sated in the comments.
Hi Trenton, the Commander Kitchen is only available in our 5x10’ model. If you selected that size, the Commander Kitchen should have shown up under “galley options,” if not let me know! As for the price, I have my rep discount I can offer so it’ll help bring that cost down. If you’re interested let me know!
@@4x4teardrops I must be doing something wrong. That’s what I selected I thought but I’ll try again. I’m interested in this same set up. XTR Off-Road teardrop trailer 5x10 that’s what I’m selecting I’m getting the regular options. I think I’ll just email them and see what happens.
@@4x4teardrops might be talking to you in a couple of months, just as soon as I find out whether or not my insurance is going to total out or Repair my TJ,being as how I flipped it off a Mountain road last Sunday night ,and landed in a tree!
